When Jieun was first born and just a baby, her parents were extremely protective of her, it was cold up in the mountain and in this weather a baby could fall ill easily. Haeun worked during the morning, and came home quickly to watch Jungkook and make sure Dajin got rest.
But Jungkook was just as happy to see his baby sister, he wasn't bothered at all that his mom was always resting since his dad practically forced her to rest, he wasn't bothered his parents gave his little sister that extra bit of attention, nope.
His mom would get his dad to tuck Jieun in, or just hold her after she fell asleep, just so she could tuck Gguk in. The days where she couldn't rest all day like Haeun wanted, she would cook, lots, like for multiple meals for multiple days. That way when she was resting, she didn't need to cook. And all was well.

"Ggukie, Jieun's going to fall ill, come inside"
Jungkook turned to look at Jieun, a little confused. He wanted to play in the snow with his sister, as any six year old would. Seen as she was only two years old and the mountain was covered in snow, their mom made sure she was layered up, and warm.
So was Jungkook, but he goes outside in the snow every day, with his dad, in the garden, just to run about. Jieun, not so much, only ever if Gguk took her. She sat and babbled, or crawled in the snow, but it was fun.
"Jungkook, bring Jieun in now, you two need to eat"
He turned to his dad and nodded, then picked Jieun up and brought her inside. Dad was sat by the fire, fanning it out, poking it about, mom was in the kitchen finishing up food. So he took his jacket, and shoes off, and Jieun's scarf, jacket, shoes, gloves, etc.
"Appa!"
Jieun crawled over to her dad, he absolutely adored her, nothing else in the entire universe was better than her in his eyes. He picked her up and sat her in his lap by the fire.
"Nice and warm here, did you have fun in the snow princess?"
She nodded and started rambling in her baby language, her dad cooing at her as if to respond. Gguk came back from putting everything in their room and sat by Jieun and his dad, warming up by the fire.
"Did you have fun outside Koo?"
"Yeah, so did Jieun"
"Here kids, everyone eat"
They all sat at the small table to eat, Jieun now in their mom's lap to be fed. Nothing felt more like home than playing in the snow and coming inside to the warm fire and comfort of mom's hot soup. It was a comforting hug, it just felt like home.

"Oh dear..Ggukie, you try feeding her?"
