"Ji did you eat?"
"Yes, I told you Gguk"
"I was just making sure, that's all"

"Now it's late though, you should've already been asleep"
"I'm just not tired"
"Well now it's time to sleep Ji"
"But I'm really not tired"
"Okay and? You look tired"
"And you look dead but you're alive"

She sat there in bed, arms holding her knees to her chest, looking at him confused. He was clearly worn out from work, so he got into bed, eyes closed, already half asleep, slightly slurring his words. But he told her to talk. He wasn't going to listen to her, or remember any of it.
"Go sleep Gguk"
"Mm..tell me what's wrong"
"Nothing"
"M'not dumb, I know it's not nothin'"
"Just not tired"
"Mm?"
"I know I look tired, cuz my eyes feel..dry, like I should be asleep, they feel sore"
"Mm"
"But I'm not tired, I won't sleep"
"So whats-wrong"
"Gguk just sleep? You're speaking nonsense and you aren't listening to me any way"
"M' listening"
"Sure.."
"Talk"
"I guess you just wanna listen to me talk while you try to sleep, fine"
"Mm"
"The moon looks nice tonight, but it'd look better from home, we're going home tomorrow right?"
"Mmhm"
"Maybe I'll sleep at home, maybe I'm homesick, maybe I just miss my bed"
"Uhuh"
"Maybe I just miss things that feel familiar, cuz lot's of stuffs different now"
"Mm"
"Maybe I miss home, or appa..or mom..or when we were kids.."
"Mm.."
"Maybe I miss when we were on good terms..and wouldn't fight and shout at each other and be mean..maybe I'm homesick"
Hearing no hum in reply she turned to look at him, he's finally fallen asleep. He looked pretty worn out, she didn't blame him. He got to sleep and she got to speak. Win win situation. But she still wasn't tired.
"Koo, maybe I'm homesick cuz we're fighting, maybe it's only home with you, cuz appa and mom aren't around anymore to be home.."
He was the only home left, and when they had fights she lost it. She lost home. She lost her parents, she lost home. She had to stay here in the village, she lost home. Her and Gguk were on bad terms, she lost home. Maybe she was just homesick. Homesick all the time? A part of home was always going to be missing from now on and she had severe homesickness.
