Fairy and Lizard: Chapter 30:

Dev and his business meetings never stop, I've been his PA for over 25 years now yet I don't get a break.

Advik hasn't officinally joined as the CEO yet that's still Dev's position in the company, we are having a press release soon where he'll announce Advik as the CEO.

Till then no retirement for me either!

Dev and everyone is in the meeting room right now and I am on my way back from the bathroom I need to head back soon as Dev maintains a professional relationship with me in the office so he will shout at me if I am late so I better hurry.

I was heading to the meeting room but I could hear someone cry, I went towards the voice it's coming from a locked door.

I tried opening it but I couldn't it needs keys and I have no access to keys since I always loose them.

"Hello? Are you okay?" I asked the person Inside.

"No I am really scared Sara is very scared please take me out." I heard from the other end.

Did she just say Sara?

She is speaking the exact same way.

No you are going crazy Kiara it's not Sara you saw her die right before your eyes.

"I'm right here outside with you, so don't be scared now can you tell me how did you get here?" I asked the girl inside the room.

"Actually Fairy I came with my brother for his business meeting and I wanted to go to the cafeteria to get some food because I got hungry and a witch like girl pushed me in here and ran away." The girl said too me and all I was getting right now was deja vu.

"Okay I'll get someone to open the door, you stay calm." I said and proceeded to walk away but her crying increased .

"Fairy please don't leave Sara alone I am scared it's really dark in this room something will happen to Sara." The girl Sara cried out and I felt an ache in my heart so I stayed back.

"Do you know you are an absolute lizard very clingy, now let's stop with the tears how about we play a game?" I asked Lizard.

"Umm game? Yes!" The clingy lizard responded excitedly.

"20 questions it is." I said.

Without waiting for her response I began.

"What's your favourite colour?" I asked her.

"Pink it's such a pretty colour all the pretty accessories are in pink and do you know? My brother always buys me pink." The lizard said happily.

"What's your favourite colour Fairy?" She asked me.

"Black as my life is plain dark and soulless." I answered honestly.

"Did something happen to cause it?" She asked.

"I lost 3 of my children." I said coldly.

"Oh." She said.

"I don't want your pity let's continue the game." I said.

"What's your favourite food?" I asked.

"Noodles! But my brother won't let me eat them he says they are bad for you because they have a lot of preservatives in them." She cutely ranted and I suddenly forgot about my bad mood and wanted to go all awww over her.

"What's your favourite food fairy?" She asked me.

"Mine is Tandoori fish it's absolutely amazing I do like Masala fish quite a lot is well." I responded with the same enthusiasm.

"So tell me what are you scared of?" I asked her.

"I am scared of Bhai when he gets angry he shouts at me a lot which is almost everyday but I know he loves me a lot is well he is the most scariest person when angry yet I feel the safest with him." Sara answered and again I felt a sense of familiarity.

"What are you scared of Fairy?" She asked me.

"Everything and anything I just don't show it." I responded confidently.

"What do you like to watch lizard?" I asked.

"Uh I like to watch Murder mystery and thriller but bhai doesn't let me watch it he says I'll get nightmares." She complained cutely.

"What about you fairy?" She asked.

"I love murder mystery and thriller too but my husband says I shouldn't watch it or it will affect my brain. I ranted carefree.

"At least I and you are similar in one aspect." She said excited.

Now that she is calm I have get her out somehow.

"Sara do you know how to break locks?" I asked.

"Yeah I do." She responded.

"Good do you have a hair pin with you right now?" I asked.

"No." I heard from her.

I took the hairpin out from my hair,

"I am sliding a hair pin in the door use that to help you." I said.

I slid my hairpin through the bottom of the door.

I could see the lock moving and once it fully moved I opened the door and she ran out proud of ourselves we both hugged each other.

"Miss Kiara, is this what I pay you for do you have any sense of responsibility in you it's been over an hour since you left the meeting room. If you don't want to work properly then resign instead of wasting time here." I heard a familiar voice Dev yell at me.

Before I could say something in my defence I heard another voice.

"Sara can't you stay in one place I told you to get food and straight back but here you are being silly and wasting company time. It's not right is it? if you can't behave then I won't take you with me at meetings I'll keep you home if embarrass me in front of my associates." I heard a man shout at Sara and I recognised him he is Rajeev Agnivanshi our new business partner.

"Sorry bhai, I didn't do it on purpose o please don't stop bringing me to meetings they are my only chance to leave the house. I promise I'll behave and not disappoint or embarrass you in the future." I heard Sara speak while crying.

I've had enough of this they both don't even know what happened and are attacking us.

"Mr Kapoor I don't come here to take your disrespect and let me specify this If I resign today you'll never find a PA like me because no one else can deal with your mood swings it would of been better if before reacting you remembered I am also your wife who you just insulted in front of everyone. Secondly Mr Agnivanshi Sara was locked in a room I was there with her supporting her when you were to busy in your meeting now you suddenly remember you have a sister instead of being horrible to the poor kid how about you be a better brother." I said frustrated and walked out.
