Treasure And Tensions

Just outside of Splatsvile lies the Splatlands a massive desert with the only signs of life being the train and the Inklings and Octolings who attempt to live there or search it for a good find. Temperatures hitting 120 degrees during the day and 30 at night you either have to be brave, dumb, or both to attempt it living or treasure seeking in the Splatlands. The train passes a figure wearing a full survival cloak, glasses, mouth covering, and gloves blowing dust and sand at them.
They walk for a bit before digging and finding a pipe they look at it and hold it next to the sun it shines silver. A pure silver pipe how did it end up there? Well doesn't matter now it's theirs now. Another figure walks up to them wearing the same outfit and shows them a shell that is rainbow colored. As the temperature continued to rise one of them took out their Squidphone and began texting.
'We found some stuff pick us up please.' 'Ok where you girls at?' 'About 2 miles away from Splatvile it's like 110 degrees out here, I'm sweating, and I have dust and sand on me.😤' 'I thought you liked the treasure hunting side gig?' 'Sure in Octovalley when we were helping out the Squidblek Splatoon crew because it was not a million degrees!' 'Ok well I'll be there in a few minutes don't dehydrate or you'll end up like cap'n.' 'K.'
After a couple of minutes a van arrives and both figures enter and take off their desert survival suits. "Ay,ay,ay? (What did you find out there Shiver?) "A pure steel pipe and Frye found a rainbow colored shell." "I don't know why you were complaining about the heat sharkie you love spicy food and hot showers too." "Snakeie I don't crank up the temperature to the point where I  almost shrivel up and spicy food doesn't make me sweat like this!" "Ay,ay ay. (Settle down Shiver we are heading back to the apartment now so you can take a bath.)
The van enters Splatsvile and after a short drive ends up at an apartment a quick elevator ride later and all three of them enter their place. Unlike most apartments in Splatsvile this one is bigger than most and has three bedrooms compared to two and the bedrooms and recording studio are completely soundproof.
Shiver walks into the bathroom and closes the door behind her and undresses she turns on the bath and waits for it to fill after a few minutes it fills and she enters. She closes her eyes and begins thinking about the next day. Tomorrow we have to do Anarchy Splatfest, a couple of turf wars, and then we agreed to help Harmony restock merchandise at her store we also have to sell that treasure if it's worth anywhere.' She then begins thinking about Frye and she smiles. 'Frye when we met Deep Cut was just a dream now it's a reality I just wish I could tell you my reality, my feelings, my love for you.' 'I don't want it to ruin our friendship, Deep Cut, or our fans we are Idols now especially after Anarchy Rainbow became #1 hottest 2 years ago.
When she opened her eyes she saw Frye sitting in the tub right in front of her she recoiled back. "Frye what are doing here?" "Well I'm pretty sweaty too and I have dust and stuff on me as well." Shiver just signs and grabs the soap and begins scrubbing. "I could help you." Shiver dropped the soap in the tub in shock. "You worked really hard today I just want to help." Shiver just continued staring at Frye. "Also you haven't had a massage in a while maybe my work could be better?" "Um.......o........ok." Shiver turned around and stared at the white wall as Frye began scrubbing and massaging her back.
"Does it feel good?" "It's ok snakeie." Shiver was actually loving it this was better than any massage but she didn't want to speak out loud about it. "Sharkie I know you are really uncomfortable right now us both naked but if it makes you feel better I don't mind that you are an A cup and small chested I actually find it super cute." This made Shiver really blush up Frye was a double B but Shiver always felt subconscious when she would see her naked now that feeling instantly melted away. Unable to take the embarrassment anymore Shiver grabbed the soap from Frye and quickly got done washing up and left the tub. "Shiver are you ok?" Shiver quickly dried off and got dressed "I'm fine Frye just need some alone time I'll be in my room." She shuts the door leaving Frye alone in the tub. 'I really hope I didn't start any tensions between Shiver and me.' 'I just wanted her to be more comfortable especially once I work up the courage to tell her I love her.'
