With a happy glow on her face, Shidya entered the house but her steps slowed down, seeing everyone present in the living room.

She saw even Vikram is present there which is not usual as he returns back from work around dinner time.

She observes their face and frowns, seeing anger and frustration.

Dhara who was standing beside Jayanti saw Shidya and lightly tapped Jayanti's shoulder.

“Ma, Shidya…" she whispered to her, making her look in front and her jaw clench seeing her standing in confusion.

"Oh, finally you come after roaming around with your lover, huh” she taunts her, looking at her with glare.

Shidya froze hearing and her blood turned cold in fear.

Vikram who was sitting on the single chair staring at her with blank face stood up and slowly walked towards her.

Shidya gulps seeing his eyes turning red and fury is clearly visible in them.

“That’s why I get you to study so that you can whore around with men, huh?" He asks her, gritting his teeth, making her flinch and look down with tears.

“Who was that man??" She looked up at him and shook her head.

"He is a nice person, Bhaiya,” she timidly whispered to him.

"I ask who he was!? I myself saw you and him together! Don't anger me more, girl,” he shouted at her, controlling himself.

She cried silently. She doesn't want to tell him about Vihaan fearing he would harm him.

“I don't know…" she told him, making him more angry.

Jayanti comes to her and holds her arms tightly and angrily said,
“Did he pay you?" Shidya looks at her in disbelief.

"Or is he from a well off family, huh? Like mother like daughter,” saying she leaves her with a jerk while Shidya looks at her with pain.

“Years ago her mother seduced my husband. Now she is also going on the same path. I told you Vikram not to give her freedom but you didn't listen to me now see the consequence. Maharani is showing her truth color,"

"No Badi Ma, please don't say this. I did nothing wrong, I swear…” she explained her innocence while crying.

You and your mother are a curse to my family," Jayanti said with pure hatred in her tone while giving her disgust look.

Shidya just looked down sobbing badly. Once again, she again questions her existence in this world. She felt unworthy and a curse to the people around her.

“She will not leave this house and stop her studies…" Shidya snapped her head hearing Jayanti in shock.

She opens her mouth to say something but no words come out seeing Jayanti looking at her with hatred.

“Vikram, find a man and get her marry as soon as possible. I can’t tolerate her presence in this house," Saying she walked away.

Giving a hard look, Vikram also walked away followed by his wife.

Shidya stands in place in the middle of living with tears rolling from her eyes.

Suddenly she let out a cry and fell on her knees. She closed her eyes tightly, wanting everything to be a nightmare but it's a harsh reality.
