Vihaan entered his apartment and slammed the door shut in anger. He is boiling in anger.

Throwing the car key away, he walked into the kitchen and took out a water bottle from the fridge. He gulped down the cold water to calm his raging heart.

He leaned against the counter and looked up, closing his eyes. His jaw started shaking as he tried to control himself from breaking down. He is hurt.

After a while he opened his eyes which were filled with tears.

“Why?" He said softly in a broken voice.

"You broke me, Shidya…I hate you,” he said and held his head between his hands as the pain of betrayal was too much for him.

Falling on the bed, he looked at the starry sky blankly. He doesn't know how to feel right now. He wanted to kill her but he couldn't. Somewhere his stupid heart still has a soft place for her.

But she doesn't deserve any softness from him after playing with him. How can he be so stupid? How did he not see her real face?

He tightly shut his eyes, stopping himself from thinking about her. She is not worthy of his precious time. She doesn't deserve a single thought.

He told himself repeatedly before finally falling asleep.

The next morning, the maid entered Shidya’s room and saw her sitting on the bed with close eyes.

“Dear, your breakfast…" Shidya didn't say anything.

The maid left the room silently as she is used to her ignorance. She has been like this since the last few weeks.

As the door of the room got close, Shidya opened her eyes and the next second her lips started trembling. She bit her lips to stop her cry as now she is tired of crying. All she wants right now to end herself but something is stopping her. A little hope, a hope to see Vihaan.

At his thought, her lips curved a little into a weak smile as she remembered a dream. A beautiful dream in which he came to save her and take her away from this hell. He was looking at her.

“Why am I so helpless, Ma?" She thought while gulping a painful lump in her throat.

“This world is so cruel to me. You and Vihaan are the only ones who never use my helplessness…who care for me and give me so much love and happiness," she whispered with a sad smile and then took a shaky breath feeling exhausted. Well that is what she has become now weak physically, mentally and emotionally.

Taking deep breaths, she lay down and closed her eyes to sleep without having anything.

“What is this, Vikram? How could you decide to postpone the wedding? This is not happening I am telling you, only few days are left," Vikram look at his mother and said,

"Did you see her condition? Give her sometime, Ma. After a month or later, we will think about the wedding,” he told her, making Jayanti give him a disbelieving look.

“Time? Why did she need time and for what, huh? She will eventually forget everything after marriage. And what happened to you? Why are you suddenly so worried about her?" Vikram sigh looking away from her.

"Nothing happened to me. And if her loving someone matters to me and affects me then her well being does too, Ma. She is a human and the least we could do is show some humanity towards her,” he told her.

“I don't care. She is getting to Rohit next week and that’s final," saying she walked away while he just stared at her going away and rubbed his forehead.
