After giving her saline through drip and injection, Shidya is sitting in front of the mirror while a maid is helping her get ready for the haldi ritual. The event is not big, just a few people from neighbors will be there for the ceremony.

Shidya is looking at herself with dead eyes. She is dressed in a simple yellow kurta and palazzo set. She is in a daze due to the medicine but she can understand her surroundings. She knows what is happening but now she is too tired to fight. She doesn't have any strength or willpower to fight. She doesn't have any reason to fight for. Everything is over.

“Let’s go,” the girl said after fixing her dupatta on her shoulder.

But Shidya didn't move or even blink. She is lost.

The girl sighs at her in frustration and makes her stand holding her shoulder.

This made Shidya blink her eyes and she felt herself walking. She silently walked with the girl's help.

Jayanti saw her coming down and it surprised her to see her coming without throwing any tantrums. But she frowned seeing her eyes dropping but then she thought it may be due to her poor health.

She was made to sit on a couch and a few ladies were sitting around.

“Jayanti, what happened to Shidya? She is looking so weak. Is she alright?" One of the ladies as everyone notices Shidya’s face which is pale and weak.

“She has been a little sick since the last few days. That’s why she is looking so weak," Jayanti told them and gestured to Dhara to bring haldi paste to start the ritual.

The ladies started singing songs.

Unknown to her surroundings, Shidya just looks down, feeling her head light and everything blurry.

The noise around her started to fade slowly. She blinked her eyes and gulped feeling suffocated suddenly.

Jayanti comes forward and dips her fingers in the haldi paste to apply on Shidya but suddenly her eyes widen when Shidya falls forward. She quickly held her and saw her eyes close.

Everyone gasps in worry seeing fainted Shidya in Jayanti’s arms.

“Dhara, call Vikram!! Quickly! Hey Bhagwan, this girl…" Jayanti said looking at her and slowly made her lie down on the couch with the help of other ladies.

The ladies around murmure looking at Shidya.

Vikram ran inside and saw Shidya lying on the couch unconscious.

“What happened to her?" He worriedly asked.

"She fainted suddenly,” Jayanti told him and asked him to take to her room.

Vikram placed Shidya on the bed and properly adjusted her head on the pillow which slightly tilted on the side.

“What is this doctor doing? Instead of getting well, her health keeps going down," Jayanti said looking at Shidya.

"Did you call the doctor?” Vikram nodded.

"In this condition, how will she be able to sit on the mandap? Stop eating and drinking. How will she live this, on these drips,” Shaking her head, Jayanti sat on the chair while Vikram stood beside Shidya’s bed looking at her in worry.

“She fainted due to weakness, Thakur Sahab. She will be awake soon," the doctor said, looking at Vikram.

"It's been a month since she has been in this state. What are you even doing? Why is she even weak when she is under your supervision for almost a month. But still no improvement in her health. If you can treat her then tell me I will hire another doctor for her,” The doctor gulped as Vikram burst on him.
