The Fever is now on its way to Los Angeles, California to play The Los Angeles Sparks in their first official WNBA season game, 2025.
Nora tapped her feet against the floor of the bus, looking out the window excitedly admiring the 'scenery' of LA. As the team arrived at the hotel, Nora got out quickly and looked around, spotting the palm trees and feeling the humid air, while it wasn't as humid as Hawai'i, it still reminded her of home.
The team got into the hotel and checked in, distributing the keycards to everyone. Nora and Caitlin found their room and opened the door, looking inside to see one large king bed.
Nora sighed, pissed. "I literally told you. This is what happens when two people have to share a hotel room, instead of there being two beds, there's one and they're forced to share!"
"Wow, I didn't think stuff like this happened in real life." Caitlin rolled her eyes.
"I'll go talk to the front desk.." Nora walked away.
Caitlin looked into the hotel room, the bed looked nice. She could just make Nora sleep on the floor. After a few minutes, Nora came back, looking distraught.
"The lady at the front said that all they had left were rooms with one bed. Almost everyone on our team got one."
"Oh great," Caitlin sighed as she paused, thinking of what to say. "You can sleep on the floor."
"What?! No! I'm making my WNBA debut tonight I can't be tired!" Nora argued.
"Funny how you think I care!" Caitlin teased as she set her duffle bag down on the floor at the foot of the bed.
"You're so annoying." Nora sat down on the king's bed.
"You're on my bed." Caitlin snapped as she sat down on the other side of the bed.
"No, you're on my bed. Sleep on the floor, grandma." Nora yawned and kicked her shoes off, laying down on the bed.
"Well, we could always sleep together and bond." Caitlin joked, raising a brow.
"You're such a freak! Saying that to the whole team." Nora lay on her side, her back facing Caitlin.
"Whatever it was a joke. God, you're lame." Caitlin sat down on the bed beside Nora. "But seriously, we could share. This bed is big enough."
"Ew, no way, you'd probably touch me in my sleep." Nora sat up and looked at Caitlin with a disapproving stare.
"Oh hell no, I have a boyfriend thanks for the offer though." Caitlin took her shoes off as well and lay on the bed.
Nora moved two pillows into the middle of the bed. "Come on my side and I'm gonna kill you."
"Calm down." Caitlin rolled her eyes before looking at her phone.
Nora got up and did her nightly routine, changing into some pajamas in the bathroom, coming out, and turning off the lights in the room before laying back on her side of the bed.
"Can I at least have a lamp on?" Caitlin asked in a bit of a whiny voice.
Nora scoffed. "Your phone has a light, you don't need a lamp."
"Whatever." Caitlin grabbed the two pillows in the middle of the bed and started using them as actual pillows, removing the barrier Nora put up. Caitlin faced Nora's back and smiled as she began to draw on Nora's back with her index finger.
"What are you doing." Nora did not sound pleased.
"Drawing on your back."
"Can you stop it?"
