In Yaanwadee's Office

Yaanwadee sat on a black leather chair, staring at a dark red glass bottle filled with a jet-black love potion. She felt a mix of anger and disappointment. The love potion she thought would help her win Ekhawat's heart had proven to be ineffective. Ekhawat didn't fall for her; instead, he was smitten with Channya, his secretary.

"Why isn't it working? I used the best love potion, but why doesn't Mr. Ek love me?" Yaanwadi clenched the potion bottle tightly.

Yaanwadi thought back to past events. She had used love potions on many men, and each time, it had worked. Every man fell madly in love with her, but why wasn't the potion working on Ekhawat?

"Channya, you'll pay for this. I won't give up. I will defeat her," Yaanwadi growled softly.

Yaanwadi stood up and picked up another glass bottle. This bottle contained a new love potion formula she had recently received from a famous sorcerer in central Thailand.

"This formula is very strong. You don't have to drip it into that guy's drink, but you have to drink it yourself. But are you brave enough?"

The sorcerer's words echoed in her head.

"Fine, let's give it a try."

Yaanwadi poured the love potion into a glass and took a sip. The taste of the love potion was bitter, but she didn't care. She just thought that this love potion would have to help her.

Lunchtime

Akira was having lunch with Natrin in the company cafeteria. Akira told Natrin everything that had happened the night before.

"Ugh! Those two jerks! Do you remember their faces?" Natrin slammed the table in anger after listening.

"I'll have my brother throw them in jail and never let them out."

"It was dark. I couldn't see their faces," Akira complained resentfully.

"Don't worry. With my brother, I'm sure he'll find them," Natrin said confidently.

Police Lieutenant Kunawut, Natrin's only brother, was a handsome, intelligent, and promising man. Within a few years of joining the police force, he had been promoted to lieutenant. The cases he worked on always made big news in the newspapers. Most importantly, he was in love with Akira. If it was about Akira, Natrin believed he would be furious and try to catch the culprits for sure.

"It's troubling my brother for nothing," Akira shook her head.

"Come on, I'll take care of it myself."

"But... tell me about the guy who helped you last night," Natrin narrowed her eyes mischievously. She was very sensitive to these kinds of things. She was sure that if Akira admired that guy a lot, it meant she must like him to some extent.

"Uh...well...how do I say it?" Akira hesitated, embarrassed.

"There you go, you like him, don't you?" Natrin shouted.

"Shh, keep your voice down," Akira quickly covered her friend's mouth.

"Tell me," Natrin looked at her friend, demanding an answer.

"I mean..."

She is the one I've been waiting for.

"Oh, answer your phone first," Akira's phone rang, interrupting Natrin just in time.

"Huh? Is it this evening? I know her. See you later."

"Who is it?" Natrin asked, peeling the wrapper off the snack in front of her.
