Beneath the Stars, Forever Begins

After the shadows of darkness that once engulfed their lives were vanquished, peace finally returned. Kritin, Akira, Theerathep, and Nattrinee could finally breathe again, relieved and grounded. The brutal battles they had endured had changed them forever—but also helped them grow.

The evening air in the garden behind the Thewanurak mansion was filled with a soothing calm. Soft candlelight glowed around blooming flowers, the scent of blossoms drifted on the breeze, and the gentle wind carried laughter through the air. Tonight was different—tonight was a celebration of new beginnings.

As the group sat and chatted beneath a canopy of stars and flickering candlelight, the garden radiated a sense of gentle joy. Flowers were in full bloom, and warm lights cast a romantic ambiance.

Theerathep glanced at Nattrinee, who was sitting beside him, laughing with Akira. Her eyes sparkled like starlight. His heart swelled with love for the woman who had stood by him through the darkest moments.

He knew this was the right time. His love for her had never wavered. And now, more than anything, he wished to share every remaining moment of his life with her.

While she was still speaking with Akira, Theerathep quietly reached into his pocket and pulled out a small velvet box.

"Nat," he said softly, his voice full of purpose.

Nattrinee turned to him, smiling—until she saw him kneel before her. Her smile vanished, replaced by wide-eyed surprise. Her heart pounded like a dream unfolding before her.

"What are you doing...?" she whispered, her eyes dancing with joy and disbelief.

Theerathep smiled, gentle and full of affection. He took her hand.

"We've been through so much together. And I know—without a doubt—that you are the one I want to spend my life with." He took a breath and spoke clearly:

"Will you marry me?"

Tears welled up in Nattrinee's eyes. Her heart pounded in her chest. It was a moment she never expected, yet one she knew she had always wanted.

"Yes... I'll marry you," she replied, her voice trembling with emotion, overflowing with genuine love.

Theerathep smiled wide, slipping the diamond ring onto her finger before pulling her into a warm embrace. The ring sparkled beneath the candlelight.

Akira watched her best friend accept the proposal, her own smile beaming with delight.

"Tch, you beat me to it," Kritin muttered, feigning irritation.

"You snooze, you lose," Theerathep teased, still holding Nattrinee close.

Kritin rolled his eyes. "Whatever. Mine's going to be way better."

Then he raised his hand in a discreet signal.

Suddenly, all the lights went out. Theerathep and Nattrinee blinked in confusion—until the lights flared on again, revealing Kritin standing before Akira.

He didn't kneel. He simply stepped forward, tall and proud.

"Krit...?" Akira said softly, her voice filled with wonder and anticipation.

"I'm not doing what that guy did," Kritin said playfully, his voice tinged with affection.

"You're special to me. So this has to be even more special."

From his coat pocket, he drew out a small box. As he opened it, the moonlight struck the diamond within just as fireworks exploded above them, sending sparks across the sky like a sea of scattered stars. The boom of the fireworks echoed through the garden.

Akira stared at the sky in awe before turning back to him.

"I don't just want to ask you to marry me," Kritin said, voice low and sincere.

"I want you to know that everything I've ever done... was for you."

"I... I want to spend forever with you. And I promise—I'll make every day we're together the most beautiful day of your life."

Fireworks continued to paint the sky in gold and silver.

Kritin smiled confidently and asked the question he had waited so long to say:

"Akira, will you marry me?"

"Of course I will," Akira said with a radiant smile before throwing her arms around him.

"Wait—don't I have to put the ring on you?" he chuckled.

"Later," she grinned, teasing him, before pulling him in for a kiss.

Theerathep and Nattrinee looked on with joy. Theerathep whispered to her with a grin, "He really went all out, huh?"

Nattrinee giggled as Kritin finally slipped the ring onto Akira's finger. The couple embraced as fireworks bloomed overhead.

The night carried on gently. Stars shimmered above, silent witnesses to the vows that had just been made. The sound of wind rustling the leaves, laughter, and applause filled the air—an unforgettable symphony of love.

And in that garden of memories, surrounded by friends, under a sky full of stars, two promises were made—promises that would last forever.
