Secrets in the Bedroom
In Krittin's private bedroom, the decor was simple yet charming, featuring white and black tones. The fragrance of flowers on the bedside table floated gently through the air. Moonlight streamed in through the window, casting a soft glow across the room.
In addition to the moonlight, warm, dim candlelight flickered in the corners, creating a quiet and romantic atmosphere.
Krittin sat on the bed in dark pajamas, his gaze gently fixed on Akira, who was seated in a chair with a hairbrush on his desk.
After the incident at the hotel and the subsequent party, Krittin had brought Akira back to his house immediately. Despite her initial protests, he was determined not to let her go home that night.
"What's wrong?" Akira asked softly, sensing the intensity in his eyes.
"Nothing," Krittin replied, his voice gentle.
Krittin smiled brightly. Akira was unaware of how long he had waited for this moment.
"Wait!" Akira turned and pointed the hairbrush at his face, her cheeks flushed.
"Huh huh, come here," Krittin said with a smile, extending his hand to her.
"....."
Akira looked at his hand before placing the hairbrush on the table, standing up, and taking his hand.
"Ah."
Krittin gently pulled her up and used his other arm to gather her onto the bed. Akira was pulled into his embrace, her face reddening.
"I'm not letting you go home tonight. Do you mind?" Krittin whispered softly in her ear.
"Oh... no." Akira's face flushed deeper as her heart raced from the warmth of his breath against her ear.
"Hm..." Krittin's nose brushed against the side of her soft cheek.
"Uh... I mentioned I was going to stay with Nat." Akira shivered slightly.
"Huh huh, that's a bad excuse," Krittin whispered in her ear with a mischievous smile.
"Alright, let's talk a bit," Krittin said, shifting his position to lean against the headboard and pulling Akira close to his chest.
"Uh huh."
"Tell me," Krittin asked casually.
"I have a special ability. I can see and communicate with spirits."
"I know," Krittin said with a smile, showing no surprise.
"And... I have Aria."
"Aria?"
"Ah, she's my personal guardian spirit. She's been with me since I can remember."
Akira rested her face on Krittin's chest before recounting her past.
"My father was a bad person. My mother was a miko at a Japanese shrine. Mom and Dad met there and fell in love, but the shrine disapproved. They said their love was forbidden and chased them away. My mother died, and my father moved us back to Thailand."
"When we returned, I met Aria. She claimed to be a guardian spirit, but I think she's more like a mischievous deity." Akira chuckled.
"Hm, why?" Krittin ran his fingers through Akira's hair.
"Her power doesn't seem like that of a guardian angel. But she's always protected me since childhood. No matter who tried to hurt me or whatever happened, she's always been there to help."
