Questions that Need Answers

Kongkiat stood by the window in his office, gazing outside with eyes full of doubt and worry. He couldn't stop thinking about Nuanphan's ghost. His wife had been sent to a mental hospital for treatment due to her illness, but why was her spirit following him?

Kongkiat recalled what Kritin and Akira had said about spirits, and Kritin's warning that there were other spirits tied to Yanwadi. Something didn't feel right, and Kongkiat knew he needed answers.

Over the next week, Kongkiat began observing Yanwadi's behavior closely. He noticed she had been acting secretively, often disappearing at unusual times, which only heightened his suspicions.

One afternoon, Kongkiat decided to follow Yanwadi after she left work. He trailed her carefully in his car, making sure not to be seen. Yanwadi drove out of the city to a quiet suburb, eventually stopping at an old and mysterious-looking house.

Kongkiat parked a distance away and followed her quietly on foot. He saw Yanwadi enter the house without hesitation, confirming that something was amiss.

As Kongkiat approached the house, he heard a soft conversation coming from inside. Straining to listen, he made out Yanwadi's voice, speaking to what sounded like a shaman.

"Master, why has Kong suddenly changed?" Yanwadi's voice was filled with anger and frustration. "At first, he loved me and took care of everything. Now he doesn't care about me at all."

"I paid a lot of money. You need to fix this," she added irritably, watching the shaman, who remained still with his eyes closed.

"Someone has destroyed my ghost," the shaman said, opening his eyes. His gaze was fierce, filled with the flames of anger.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Yanwadi asked, startled.

"Let's just say I'll perform a ritual to make the charm even stronger."

"Good. I hope it's worth the money I paid," Yanwadi smiled with satisfaction.

"So, has Nuanphan died yet?" she asked nonchalantly.

Kongkiat's eyes widened in shock as he overheard Yanwadi's words from his hidden position.

"Humph, her body is now the possession of my ghost. It won't be long before..." the shaman sneered.

"Good. I want her to die quickly," Yanwadi said with a cruel smirk.

"Be patient. It won't be long before Kongkiat is yours forever," the shaman assured her.

Kongkiat felt his heart pounding in his chest. He knew he couldn't wait any longer. He had to stop this. Without wasting another second, he hurried back to his car and drove away quickly, determined to gather the necessary information and plan how to confront Yanwadi.

Major Decisions

After a day filled with doubts and turmoil, Kongkiat sat back in his office, the quiet surroundings interrupted only by the soft sound of the wind blowing through the window. He remained still for a moment before picking up the business card that Kritin had given him, turning it over in his hand.

The card was simple, displaying only Kritin's name, phone number, and the location of a place called the Mysterious Library. Thoughts of what Kritin and Akira had told him, combined with his growing suspicions about Nuanphan's spirit and Yanwadi's dark magic, swirled in his mind.

"Maybe they can help," Kongkiat whispered to himself, staring at the card.

The idea of finally finding answers, and perhaps a way to stop Yanwadi, pushed him to make a decision. He picked up his phone and dialed the number on the card.
