You watched Soobin drive off, finally getting a moment to yourself to think things over. But no, you were wrong. It was already 9:30. You had to rush to the office.
"Hey! I remember everything from last night," Yoo Jin said the moment he saw you. "Me too," you replied, as if that wasn't one of the worst things to happen lately. "Crazy, right?" he added. And it was crazy — a K-pop idol showing up to fetch two drunk strangers he barely knew, making sure they got home safely? That was wild by any standard.
"I hope I was in my right mind and made a good impression," Yoo Jin said, half-serious. "It doesn't matter," you muttered. You didn't want to think about it anymore. The rest of the day passed in a blur of work and deadlines, and eventually, you made your way home.

You did your usual routine — freshened up, ate dinner, and collapsed onto the couch with the TV on. A Soobin commercial popped up on the screen, and you instinctively focused. Just seeing his face made your heart race. Then your phone buzzed with a message.
D: hey, you home?
A sudden wave of confusion swept over you. You: Yeah, why?
D: I'll be there in 5.
You weren't exactly surprised. A part of you saw this coming. You jumped up, straightened the couch, and tidied everything within reach. Moments later, the doorbell rang. Of course — Soobin. Punctual as ever."Hey, honey!" he greeted, stepping in as you closed the door behind him. He slipped off his shoes, then pulled down the mask and cap that had been hiding his face. Something about seeing him — fully, openly — eased the tension in your chest, even though this wasn't exactly a relaxed situation. He settled onto your couch.
"Oh, you watch the news?" he asked, glancing at the screen in front of you. "Yeah, I like to stay updated," you said as you handed him a glass of water — basic manners. "Explains why you didn't know who I was," he teased, accepting the glass. "Don't judge me. I'm just a busy woman."
"I'm a busy man too, yet I make time to get to know you," he said, his sarcasm laced with charm. "Alright, my bad!" you surrendered, making him chuckle. "I don't see your niece around," he observed, scanning the space. "She's at my mom's," you replied, leaning back with your arm resting on the couch.
"Well, that's very convenient," he said, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips. "Convenient for what?" you asked, even though you knew exactly what he meant. "You know — for having sex," he dropped the word so casually that your breath hitched, and you awkwardly looked away.
"Shut up!" you exclaimed, flustered, getting up to walk away. But before you could, he gently grabbed your wrist and pulled you onto his lap. Your hands instinctively landed on his shoulders for balance.
"I like you better in my lap than on the couch," he murmured, locking eyes with you. "Shut it," you whispered back, but his gaze — deep, magnetic — was starting to work its magic. "I would love me some dessert," he said, biting his lower lip. "And your lips look sweet."
"Well..." you stammered, torn between hesitation and the aching pull toward him. He reached up and tucked a loose strand of hair behind your ear, his fingertips grazing your skin. The contact sent sparks through your entire body. "Soobin—" you breathed, swallowing hard. This was unbearable. You wanted him — badly.
And then, you were kissing.
