"Well Mr Travalinski you are in a spot of bother, now aren't you?" Eris says as she drops his case file on the table, she looks over to Adam "Oh at least 20 years and that's just for the one girl"
"And thats the easy part. Wait until the guys inside find out what you're in there for and your days will already be numbered" Adam laughs under his breath.
"I'll tell you anything you need to know on one condition" Travalinski begs them.
"What's that then?" Eris asks as lays down photos of the most recent crimes.
"No gen pop. I'll give you all the names you need, anything you want but no gen pop please" He begs them
Eris looks up to Adam, they both stare each other, it's like they are reading each others minds. They've always had a special connection at work, it's like their minds work in the same way when it comes to criminals.
"I'll arrange that. But nothing until your information is confirmed" Eris as she puts down a pen and pad of paper for the names.
"The ring leader is a kid called Markus Donnelly, he runs the site with his dad and brothers. I swear to god" Travalinski starts writing down, Eris brow furrows.
"Do you mean the Donnelly 5?" Eris asks, she knows this family, all too well.
"Yeah them! They live out in isolations. Outskirts of some massive forest, I've been to their house, I'm telling you it's them!" He pleads
"How have you been to his house? Their identities are kept completely hidden to protect themselves" Adam asks as he can see Eris is placing something together in her head.
"Before I went inside, I was at bar near their place. They saw me, came over. We started talking. They took me back to the house where they had some girl tied up there. For three days we drank, smoked ice and raped her. Then Karl Donnelly took her out back and shot her between the eyes. She's buried in the backyard if you go there" Travalinski informs them. Eris knew they would have been doing this a while to have an operation this sophisticated.
"Charge him Adam" Eris says as she picks the case file up and leaves the room. "Warrant?" She asks texting on her phone
"Yeah" Kim hands over the warrant to her "everyone is in the war room, including cyber"
"Ok guys" Eris walks to the front of the war room "Context time" she shouts to get everyone's attention "Markus Donnelly and his family have been on the FBI top ten for years. The older members of the family have been under investigation for incest and rape of minors for years but never anything concrete to put them away. Markus and his brothers only 4 years ago were under investigation for a string of rapes at a local private high school. But again got away with it. For essentially forest people they are smart. Gear up. We go in 20" Eris rushes out of the room to the bathroom. Barely making it before she throws up in the toilet. "Oh god please don't let this be what I think it" Eris says to herself as she wipes her mouth and flushes the toilet before pulling a pregnancy test from her back pocket and sitting down on the toilet.
The 3 minutes feel like forever while she waits for the results. Eventually looking down at the test, taking a deep breath in before throwing the test in the garage.
"You good?" Jay asks as straps her vest for her like the old days.
"Yeah, you?" She looks up at him, Jay just nods before quickly kissing her on the back of the head while no one was looking. Eris smiles to herself as she walks away and rides shot gun with Simmons.
"There's no one here Eris" Adam comes up to her.
"Ok knock it down" Eris says as she sticks her hands in the chest of her vest. She watches as Jay gets the battering ram from his truck and knocks the front door down.
"You think we are close?" Hank asks her as she looks nervously into the forest behind the house.
"No" Eris looks at her father "look at the size of that forest. We got no idea how big this thing spans let alone what they have done for funsies"
"Eris you're gonna wanna see this" Simmons calls from the front door.
Eris stands at the front door, in shock what this tiny shack holds. Stacks upon stacks of computers, electronics and many more incriminating devices. She makes her way throughout the house.
"DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING" Eris screams throughout the house. "Oh my god" she says under her breathe as she enters what she assumes is Markus room. Stacks of illegal magazines and images. "I gotta make a call" Eris says to Simmons as she moves back out the house, once outside she makes her call "Hey Stokes. Strange request but you think the team can come out to Chicago? I got a scene and my god I need a team that is so thorough it hurts"
"Yeah we will be there tonight" Stokes agrees with her and hangs up.
"Eris we got a body" Trippie calls from the front door.
