"This guy is a serving detective?" Adam starts to question Eris as they stare through the two way glass watching the guy "he's not a convicted pedophile"
"I said known not convicted. When a person is reported on several occasion or several accusations are made to us about a suspected pedophile and we don't have enough for an investigation. We keep tabs and we have kept a lot of tabs on this guy. Just nothing we can charge him with yet" Eris says intently as she stares in on the glass waiting for her time to pounce.
"How many is on the list?" Halstead asks from behind. Knowing she won't turn around.
"About 300" Eris says intently again, taking a bite out of her apple.
"Fuck. That's a lot" Adam blurts out.
"We predict there's about 500,00 predators active online at given time in a day" Eris says intently before making her move "Rusek with me" she grabs the case file and makes her way into the interview room, flicking the on switch in the recording device "The date is 18th September 2022, the time is 14:36. I am Special Supervisory Agent and Unit Chief Eris Gabriel Voight" Eris begins the recording
"And I am Detective Adam Rusek" Adam announces his presence.
"With us we have, please state your name for the record" Eris gestures towards him
"George Ninos, 19th April 1975" George announces hisself, smirking at Eris in the progress.
"Thank you, we also have his brief present" Eris gestures toward the lawyer.
"Louella Dinnes, Defence attorney" His lawyer makes herself present.
"Thank you,I would like to make you aware that we are recoding this via security cameras around the room and on a separate tape as well. We have explained the charge that you have been arrested for the torture and rape of Charlotte Hunter and Samantha Loubelle. Do you understand your charges?" Eris explains.
"Yes" George says shifting in his seat.
"You have been offered to have your lawyer present and you have chosen your own lawyer is that correct? Eris asks.
"Yes" George says
"Thank you, we shall begin. Have you ever met Charlotte Hunter or Samantha Loubelle?" Eris asks, slowly placing the photos down watching his reaction on his face. She already established her baseline while he stated his information. There it is a small flicker of a smile in the corner of his mouth before controlling his face again.
"I have not" George says cocky
"Are you sure? They were in your area? Never seen them just walking about?" Adam asks. Throwing his off pace with another voice. Eris leans back in her chair watching.
"Never seen them before" He answers but it gave answer the information she needed, twice in a row she watched as his chest going up and down sped up during a lie.
"That's very odd then Mr Ninos, because we found there bloody clothes in a trash can hidden in your garden" Eris says calmly as she lays out photos of the evidence "for the tape I am laying out photos 76,77 and 78. Is there any reason we would of found these items in your backyard?"
Eris watches carefully as he thinks about his answer, there was no correction to Eris calling him Mr and not Detective. A man trying to established dominance and in turn his innocent would correct that immediately but he knows his time is up. Eris has already established dominance and he knows she knows something but he is trying to figure out how much. Ninos purses his lips and stares at the photos intently.
"No idea" Ninos smirks as Eris.
"Well are you aware that due to your house being the in the search radius for the missing girls, that we were able to enter your garden and search it after the scent was picked up by our dogs?" Eris explains his eyes begin to widen on how much she knows "Based on this we were able to obtain a search warrant for your full property and subsequently your basement" and there it was he knows she knows everything "can you explain why you have a full gynaecology table in your basement along with wall full of sexual aid toys,torture equipment, cameras, camera equipment and two large dog crates?"
"No comment" Ninos says as beads of sweat roll down his face.
"Can you explain why there DNA was all over your basement?" Adam asks.
"No Comment" Ninos says
"As part of our search warrant we were able to search your laptops. Why do you have three?" Eris asks.
"No comment" Ninos says.
"Well you may be able to delete history on the devices and wipe your hardrives. But we have an amazing tech team that have been able to recover things. Are you aware that every month you pay "$100 every month to daycare?" She asks
"No comment" Ninos says.
"Well we though it was weird, didn't we adam?" They turn to each other and nod "your children are in all in high school. You've never had any affairs, no children as of recent. Your wife doesn't have any extra children outside of your marriage. So why do you pay for daycare? Well don't you worry, we looked into it for you. Didn't we?" She turns to Adam again
"Oh yes we did Eris. We looked right into that for you" Adam agrees.
"Well turns out the "daycare" you pay every month. Now that's a not real company, doesn't exists on the surface. But when we dug deeper into your search history, we saw you visited a site a lot on the dark web" Eris explains, his entire body shifts with guilt "did you know your $100 every month actually pays for a platinum membership on a site call "Love4U"?" Eris asks
"And what does "Love4U" offer?" Adam asks.
"I'm glad you asked Adam. This site is a pedophiles dream hub, it is a trading board for images and videos of rape, torture and all manner of sexual acts on minors. Along with this images, you can buy time with minors and even buy minors themselves. On the basis that once you buy you are responsible for that minor and the sale cannot be traced" Eris looks at Ninos who knows his time is finally up. "Now Mr Ninos you communicated a lot with BigDaddy on this site through message boards and direct messages. This is where you purchased three separate Instagram logins at $1500 a pop. Now why would you purchase Instagram logins for accounts that don't belong to you?" she asks.
"No comment" Ninos shifts in his seat
"Well I believe you've been using these accounts to communicate with young girls that are underage. See we've used your texts, emails and other communication and created a dialect that's unique to you. Which matches messages on the accounts that spoke to Charlie and Sammie. And the last messages on these accounts before it was deactivated where time and place for a meet up. Then the account was conveniently deactivated an hour before the girls were located" Eris explains.
"Now we don't believe that you killed these girls. But you know who did. Was it the user behind BigDaddy?" Adam asks.
"No comment" Ninos says.
"Ok. I've had enough of this. If you don't tell us who shot these girls and who runs this site we will be charging with you the rape, torture and murder" Eris collects photos back up and goes to close her case file.
"No. I'll talk" Ninos says more than he did in the last hour. "I don't know his name but I just know him as BigDaddy. Knows of us know each others identity. Protects us a bit. I know he created the site and takes a cut of all transactions. He knows all of our identities but we don't know his or each others" Ninos talks.
"We need your login details for that site now" Eris hands him a pen and pad "for the record I have handed the suspect a pen and pad" he scrawls down the login.
"But there's one thing" Ninos says, both Eris and Adam look at him "you have to post daily otherwise your account will be deactivated and blocked from coming back"
"Thank you, George Ninos we are charging you with the rape and torture of Charlotte Hunter and Samantha Loubelle" Eris goes to continue but is cut off.
"Will you tell the judge I helped?" Ninos asks
"I will. You will be stripped of your badge and rank, if found guilty of this crime you will be stripped permanently of these things along with your police pension. Interview terminated at 16:03" Eris switches off the machine as he is cuffed again and taken away.
