With a week remaining until their courses at U.A college begin and the dormitory costs being double what they were last year, Ida and Kaminera decide to rent a house for them and there buddies to live in during the next college years. So they invite...
A few nights before we would arrive to the rental, I had gotten a call from Idda. Beep "Izuki! It's Idda your friend from university. Me and Kaminera came up with a beneficial idea that will help us enhance our team work and flexibility! We're renting out the old house by Whittier Street." Idda voice sounded almost muffled I thought. It was probably due to my houses bad internet connection "An older house on Whittier street? I've never seen one, aren't all those houses newer ones?" Idda quickly replied "Indeed Izuki. But this one used to be home to some celebrity so they don't want to take it down." My mindimmediately went to All Mighty causing me to smile ear to ear as my voice became more cheery.
"Was it All Mighty? That would be so cool! I mean living in the house he used to -" My excitement soon ended when Idda replied but never the less I still felt delighted at what it seemed he'd soon propose.
"No or at least I don't think so. If he had it would probably had been in the advertising. But there's a much better reason me and Kaminera decided to rent the house. If the timing in your schedule would allow I would like to invite you Midoryia Izuki to spend the college year in our rental abode. It should be much cheaper than the dorms this year and more of our colleagues will be with us." Idda finally asked, I nodded this sounded like something Idda would do though I was willing to bet that Kaminera wasn't doing this because of school work or team enhancement exercises but spending the school year close to my friends sounded like a great time to me especially if Kaminera was organizing it.
"Sure Idda I'd love too! Who else is staying at the rental with us?" Idda answered in his normal formal and informative manner that made him the class president in high school. In fact I wondered if he was planning to run this year in our college grade too, I know he hadn't wanted the position at first but surely after his time of leadership he'd gain some confidence. Some things might definitely change this year. Though Idda had always been a person to focus on academics , Kaminera was definitely more of a social guy, going to party's and hanging out with friends was the only thing you'd find him doing. Probably playing games on his laptop too. It's was a miracle he hadn't been convinced to start drinking yet by the older kids but I hoped he wouldn't start.
To think that was my biggest worry about my friends at the time, it makes me laugh today at the pure irony, he had brought to us but back to the story. "Kaminera already invited Jiro, Sato and Mineta to stay in the rental with us. I'm planning on inviting Uraraka and Momo as well." I chuckled. "Wow you're kinda slacking in this whole inviting people over thing huh?" Idda voice seemed to flush out of embarrassment and surprise. "I was trying to focus on quality companions for our living arrangements! And for our more professional appearances as college teens who work to get jobs it's much more significant to pay accordingly to show we're as reliable and as cooperative as possible. Speaking of which I was thinking that everyone would pay a 9th of the rent since it would be only fair. The rental is cheap so it shouldn't degrade any of our collage funds." My head was already spinning, Idda is amazing but sometimes he comes off to strong.
"Okay that makes sense." I relented. "Can I invite Kachann too? I overheard him complaining about the dorms earlier and the more the merrier right?" I wasn't sure I could predict Idda reply on this like most things. Kachann was a childhood friend of mine named Katsuki Bakugo. He had a very short fuse and he argued with Idda a lot. To be honest he and I had our fair share of tough times in the past but I really did love him like a good friend. Maybe even more looking at it all in hindsight.
"Bakugo? Of course Izuki! As long as you call him and inform him of the establishment. Oh and try to convince him to pack up and come on our arranged meeting date, Monday." Idda agreed.I nodded before asking puzzled. "Why Monday? Isn't that a whole week before school starts up?"
"Very perceptive Izuki! Yes, it will leave us plenty of time to settle in and get prepared for the gauntlet of learning U.A has planned for us. Hurry on you should start packing, a thrilling of training and educational study awaits us!" I smiled thinking about my first year in U.A . My dream school, The one All Mighty went too that I was going to! Idda's right it's time to prepare. "Bye Idda see you soon!" Beep.
Icalled Kachann straight after, I was fervent about the idea of living together with my friends. Even if I didn't really know Mineta or Sato that well. Beep "What idiot is on the phone?!" Bakugo's voice boomed through the speaker. Oops I started the call with the phone way too close to my ear. "It's me Kachann!" I called back with a pep in my voice despite my ringing ears. I could hear a tch from the other line. "What do you want Deku?"
"Idda and Kaminera are putting together a rental for our classmates and I was hoping you would come too Kachann!" I hoped he could hear the smile in my voice or the excitement of my tone and get excited too but if he could he didn't show it. Not that that was any less than expected from him. "Why not? Might as well stay in a noisy house full of competitors. How much is the rent?" Bakugo asked. I ignored his skepticism.
" It's $500 a month and we'll be splitting it into 9th's between all of us but it's a two story building with plenty of quest rooms so it should be fine. It'll be way less than dormitory rent and has way more space, I'm sure you'll love it Kachann!" I say with the vitality of a salesmen while I try to clean my ear with my pinky finger. "Whatever as long as it's less than the schools damn cost." I smiled more eager than ever for the week to come. I wouldn't say I wish I hadn't agreed to stay in the house but more I wish I never invited Kachann to come. He was wrong the dorms were much cheaper than this rental .
