RE0 - Chapter 8 - Don't tell me they can all talk now

Y/N' PoV.

After getting the 3 Tablets, we went to the observatory, going for the telescope as we insert the tablets in the telescope. This caused the observatory to lower down, which allowed us to go through a complete new exit.

We got out through said exit, as we found our way on a small bridge on the water that bought us to what seemed like a chapel or small church. As we looked around, Billy tried to open the door, but it didn't work as he then looked back at us. "Hey, the door won't open" he spoke.

Rebecca then spoke in answer to his call "Maybe there is a way to open it" She said as they tried to search for it, till they heard something fall to the ground, as I used my super strength to kick the door open "I am the key" I said as we walked in, sure I did went through her wanna-be therapy session, but this didn't mean that I would forget the death of my two friends, or all that happened so easily... Plus... I just wanted to be done with all this.

We entered the church as we explored, Rebecca going in a room and finding more ammo, as well as a typewriter, as I teased Billy about wanting to add to his already long testament, which kinda pissed him off, but not like he could yell at me, he walked right into that by doing this a few times already. But as we spoke, a huge noise came from above, as a Giant Bat found it's way into the chapel by the huge hole on the roof.

"Well, seems we have to fight Man-Bat over here" I spoke as I took out the Onyx Roses and started firing at the bat, who was quite swift in the air, but not enough to dodge all the lead that we were throwing his way, between Grenade Launcher, Shotguns and Various Pistol shots, he was slowly getting damaged, but also regenerated due to the virus little by little, as it also summoned other bats to bug us. So we decided to split our attention, as Rebecca and Billy would clean up the lesser ones as I faced the Giant Bat, as I immediately opened the fight shooting a few rockets through Pandora's Bow-Gun form.

Those seemed to hurt the beast a few more times, as I then used the benches of the church as ways to approach the bats, as I slashed at him with Durga and Kali, forcing him into a shock state due to the lighting power the two claw share, as I then used a mixed move of Agni and Rudra to create a tornado of flame as I rushed into the Bat, causing the beast to be burned alive, unable to regenerate due to the flame and air eating through it.

"And that's done... I wonder how it tastes" I said as I went to get a bite, only to be slapped on the back of the head by Rebecca as she looked down at me like a mother who was ready to scold a child "Don't we don't know how the viruses can change your body" she spoke, not knowing about all the experiments that I had gone through, as I preferred not to tell them, knowing it possibly would make them attack me on sight.

"Well seems we are blocked here" Billy said as I coughed "Well, one way to go is up" I spoke as Billy did have the Hookshot. He then pulled it back out and used it "I'll go and see what I can find, you two wait me here" He said as Rebecca nodded. "Aye aye, Captain" I said as he rolled his eyes and start climbing the Hookshot and once at the top, pulled it all up to keep it with him, as he rolled back in all the cable he shot.

I sat on the wooden bench and relaxed as Rebecca took out the book I had given her to read of my family "Y/N. Your family is great, they are heroes" She said with a smile, handing me the book, as I looked at it, not knowing really want to say, before putting it in the inner pocket of my jacket "Yeah... Too bad I'll never be one" I said as I looked up at the ceiling, causing Rebecca to look at me "And why?" She asked.

"They are all dead, Rebecca, all I do is for money, and demonic power does lower when mixed with human blood... Nero, the last guy you read about, is my Grandfather... And he was a quarter demon, I'm way way less stronger than he is... And have less potential too... I don't know if I can even transform into a demon anymore... And my powers are watered down version of theirs"
