Chapter 7

After the storm passed through and the weekend came, it was time for their date. The couple were at the movies. The movie that was playing was Jaws. Salior kept a firm grip on Tommy's arm the whole time, which caused him to laugh, but he didn't mind.

"I never want to watch that movie again." Salior said as they walked out of the movie, and Tommy just laughed.

"Oh, come on, it wasn't that bad." He replied, throwing the popcorn away and putting his arm around her shoulders.

"There was just so much blood." She shuttered, and Tommy kissed her head.

"Okay, you can pick the next movie we see." He said he knew how Salior didn't like any type of scary movie. He just chose it because he knew she'd hold onto him the whole time.

"Really?" She asked, looking up at him.

"Really." He said and pulled her into a kiss. "Hmm, you taste like chocolate." He added once they pulled away, the girl did eat a Reeses

"Better than tasting like licorice." She replied in a joking manner, knowing he had some.

"I'll have you know licorice is the go-to movie snack." He defended himself, causing Salior to laugh and shake her head.

"No, it's not. For one, it's popcorn, or if you're like me, it's gummy bears and chocolate, and two licorice is gross." She stated as they walked outside.

"Gummy bears? Salior, you bite their heads off first so they don't, and I quote,'feel the pain.''" He teased, causing Salior to stop walking and look at him.

"Rude." She laughed as she pushed him a little. "What does that have to do with your liking licorice?" She asked.

"Well, at least I know my snacks won't feel any 'pain' when I eat them." He pointed out as he put air quotes around the word pain. Salior just shook her head.

"You're an ass." She said in a teasing tone and started to walk again. Tommy gasped and hurried to catch up to her.

"Did you just swear? Did my sweet loving girlfriend swear?" He asked over dramatically as he picked her up by her waist, causing the girl to let out a laugh as she threw her head back.

"Tommy!" She squealed as he put her down and pampered her face with kisses. Finally, his lips landed on her lips, pulling her into a sweet kiss.

"You ready to go skate?" He asked as his forehead leaned against hers.

"Yes, come on so I can show you how it's done." She smiled and took off to his truck.

As Tommy was driving, Salior was looking out the window when she noticed how he wasn't going the right way.

"Umm, the rink is back that way." She said, looking over at him.

"I know, I just want to show you something first." He said, and Salior gave him a look.

"On no. Is this where you plan on killing me?" She teased, and he let out a playful scoff and shook his head with a laugh.

"Even if I wanted to, I wouldn't be able to." He said, taking her hand and giving it a kiss.

"Then where are we going?" She asked. She saw that he was about to say something, so she hurried and cut him off. "Don't say you'll see." She said, and Tommy just smiled and shook his head but looked over at her.

"You'll see." He said.

"Ugh." Salior groaned as she threw her head back into the seat. After a couple more minutes, Tommy pulled up to a house. Salior looked at the white house and then back at him. "Wait, is this the...." She trailed off, looking back at him.
