The next morning Heather woke, took a shower and went to the kitchen to fix breakfast. Cooking was something that she enjoyed doing. Although she didn't cook everyday once she did, she put her foot in it. Her mother had taught her how to cook at a very young age. But had took a few cooking classes once she got older just to prefect her craft just a bit more. Cooking was defiantly a hobby she enjoyed. She looked up from her plate once her friend entered the kitchen.
"Good morning." Amber looked over at her smiling.
"Good morning." She opened the fridge and took out the orange juice.
"So how was the rest of your night last night?"
"It was cool. Got me a few numbers." She said with a cheesy smile. "I tried to get that fine guy Fin's number, but it seemed he already had his mind set for someone else." She wiggled her well arched eyebrows.
"Yeah? Who?" Not like she cared.
"You." Heather almost chocked on her toast.
"What?"
"Girl you was all he talked about at the party. He wanted to know if you were in a relationship. Where you lived. Where you worked."
"You didn't tell him any of that did you?"
"No." But the look on her face told Heather that she was lying. Her friend was the worse liar ever. She couldn't lie to save her life.
"You fuckin mutt. What did you tell him?"
"Don't call me no fuckin mutt. You know I hate that shit."
"As if I give a fuck what you hate. You told a complete stranger where I worked and were we lived."
"For your info I did not tell him where you work."
"Well you told him where we lived."
"I had to. How else was I supposed to get home?"
"You took a ride from him?"
"He offered so I took it. It was a free ride. What did you want me to do?"
"Get a fuckin job so that you can afford a damn cab." She yelled.
"I'm trying to get a job. It's not like I'm sitting on my ass not trying. As a matter of fact, I have an interview tomorrow."
"Good maybe you can help around with these damn bills. I feel like a man in a loveless relationship."
"Well, you're playing the role right because you sure do look like a man."
"Fuck you, Amber."
"Fuck you, Heather." She yelled back.
"You already tried that remember. Too bad I like dick and not pussy."
"I like dick too. I'm not fuckin gay!"
"Yes, the fuck you are. You rather eat pussy then suck dick." She smiled knowing that would irk her even more. "Just admit it Amber. I already know." And you feeling me up a few weeks back. I didn't forget that either."
"Fuck you, Heather." She didn't deny it because she Heather was telling the truth.
"Fuck you, you fuckin mutt."
"I'm not a mutt Heather. Just because I'm mixed doesn't mean I'm a mutt."
"That's what mutt means Amber. A mixed bitch." She gripped the glass that was in her hand as if she wanted to chuck it at her but instead tossed it in the sink not caring of it broke or not and began storming out of the kitchen. "Don't get upset now. You're the one that fucked up. Gave a complete stranger our address. Dumb ass."
