Amber walked into the bathroom while Heather was in the shower and began to strip pulling back the shower door and stepped in. She heard as Heather sighed but still allowed her to enter.
"You're going to force me to have sex with you?"
"No."
"Then what are you doing in here?"
"To have sex." She laughed.
"Amber."
"Why are you running away from this? Just answer me that."
"But I already told you why."
"I want to prove you wrong."
"I don't want you to prove me wrong Amber. I feel the way I feel." She sighed. Heather too a deep calm breath once she felt Amber touch her back. "Amber. It was a mistake for us to had started anything. I should have turned you down when you wanted to have sex. For that I apalogies. Please lets just end this." She sighed again.
"Heather..."
"I have a date with Fin."
"You do?" She asked shocked.
"Yes. This weekend."
"Why didn't you say anything about it until now then?"
"I didn't think that would have to." She dropped her hand and stepped out of the shower leaving Heather alone. To say that shit hurt was an understatement. Stupid her for thinking something could come of them. Going to her room she got dressed and lay in bed. She knew she had to stop trying rather she was telling the truth about Fin or not. It was clear that she didn't want her. It was best to leave it alone. Once Heather left for work, she began looking for more jobs. The more she stayed out of the house the better.
I had to lie to her. Heather thought as she drove to her job. I couldn't catch feelings for my friend. I shouldn't have slept with her. Why did I cross that line? Cursing under her breath she climbed out of the car and made my way inside the building stopping short once she spotted Fin standing in the lobby. What the hell was he doing here? He smiled her way but she ducked her head and kept going to the office. Her phone immediately began to ring once she got in the office. Already knowing that it was Fin she answered.
"Hello?"
"You're just going to walk pass me as if you didn't see me?"
"What was I supposed to do?"
"Say hi."
"Well, hi." He laughed.
"Can I come up?"
"It's best if you didn't."
"Why not? We have business anyway."
"What do you mean?"
"Your assistant didn't tell you?" Just then her assistant knocked on the door.
"Come in."
"You have an appointment with a Mr. Mcintyre. I'm sorry I just got it."
"Your last name is Mcintyre?" She asked with laughter in her voice.
"Don't laugh at my name Heather." He said laughing. She thanked her assistant, and she left her office.
"Fin Mcintyre."
"Heather." He said in a warning voice.
"Okay it's not funny. Just tell me, how did you manage to get a meeting with me without my approval?"
