Percy woke up in her room in the teacher's wing at Hogwarts, feeling the familiar weight of her animal companions around her. Eleanor, the polecat, and Orfeas, the snake, were curled up on her pillows, while Fotis, the crow, perched on her legs. Sophie, the owl, nestled comfortably on her chest, her soft feathers brushing against Percy's skin.

"Good morning, everyone," Percy said softly, gently stroking Sophie's feathers. She carefully moved each animal to the side and sat up, stretching. The room was filled with the faint early morning light filtering through the curtains.

After a quick shower, Percy dressed for the day. She pulled on a black long-sleeved shirt with a bow accent and a black shirt collar, paired with a grey fitted skirt. She slipped into black tights and black heels, completing her ensemble. Finally, she gathered her long black hair into a high ponytail, securing it neatly.

Eleanor, Orfeas, Fotis, and Sophie watched her with curious eyes. Percy smiled at them, feeling affection for her loyal companions.

"Ready to start the day?" she asked, receiving a series of chirps, hisses, and squeaks. Percy chuckled and opened the door, stepping out into the hallway of the teacher's wing, ready to face another day at Hogwarts.

Percy made her way to the kitchens, her footsteps echoing softly through the empty hallways. She reached the door to the kitchens and pushed it open, greeted by the warm, bustling atmosphere inside. The house elves, busy with their morning tasks, paused to greet her warmly.

"Good morning, Miss Percy!" they chimed in unison, their small faces beaming with delight.

"Good morning, everyone," Percy replied with a smile. "Can I have my usual, please?"

The house-elves nodded eagerly and got to work. Within moments, they handed her a blue bagel with scallion cream cheese and a large iced caramel macchiato. The aroma of fresh coffee filled the air, making Percy's mouth water.

"Thank you so much," she said, accepting the breakfast with gratitude.

"You're welcome, Miss Percy!" one of the house-elves said, bowing slightly. "Enjoy your meal!"

Percy found a quiet corner in the kitchen to sit and enjoy her breakfast. She took a bite of the blue bagel, savoring the tangy cream cheese, and followed it with a sip of her iced caramel macchiato. The combination of flavors was perfect, and she felt a sense of contentment as she ate. Her animal companions watched her from their perches, each making small noises of approval.

As she finished her breakfast, Percy felt ready to face the day. She stood up, thanked the house-elves once more, and left the kitchen, her spirits lifted by the warm start to her morning.

Percy made her way to the Great Hall, her breakfast in hand. She found a seat at the long staff table and settled down to eat. Soon, Professor Minerva McGonagall joined her, taking a seat beside her.
