one month later
graduation day came and went. soobin and lia both graduated at the top of their class. since their confession, things have almost gone back to normal. lia eased up on the teasing, and since then, they've gotten much closer. they spent a lot of time together, especially when it came to studying for final exams.
they got accepted into the same college but chose two different majors. she chose to major in nursing, but soobin was still indecisive. that was something she started teasing him about—that he could just be her trophy husband.
soobin's stuff, which he should've been packing to move into his dorm over the next few days, was absolutely everywhere. with all of his clothes scattered around, the floor was hardly visible.
he didn't want to take everything with him since he'd come back during breaks. he doubted his new dorm room would even be big enough to hold all his stuff. he knew he would only take his valuables.
soobin turned around and sighed. lia was in his sweater, lying on his bed. she was busy eating his snacks and scrolling on her phone. he invited her over to help him pack. his moving-in date was approaching, and he wanted to make sure everything was prepared.
she promised to help him, but he didn't know how she was going to do that from his bed.
soobin grabbed one of his sweaters and threw it in lia's direction.
"hey!" she raised her voice.
"when you said you would help me pack, i kind of thought you'd actually be helping."
"i am helping. i'm supervising."
"you're just watching me go through my boxes."
"isn't that the definition of supervising? i'm making sure you don't become sidetracked."
"i'd get more work done if you actually helped me."
"packing is so boring. let's go get something to eat."
