The talk

Jimins pov.

I sat there, eyes wide as jungkook finished telling me the truth. His eyes puffy with tears still in them. Jungkook does this thing when he lies his nose would twitch, and he would talk slowly as if he was thinking his lie through. But when he tells the truth, his eyebrows soften, and he talks more calmly using his Busan accent. I was looking for any sign of him lying, but he indeed wasn't lying, and all I could was hug him. Letting him cry into my shoulder as I rubbed his back and his hair waiting for him to calm down.

"And all these years...I thought you cheated on me...I thought your love was fake." I said as jungkook shook his head

"No, I never stopped loving you, jimin. I still love you to this day. I love you more than you can imagine." He sobbed as I kissed his cheek, holding him like a baby in my arms. It had been almost an hour that passed as we stayed like this in a sweet silence.

"Jimin... I love you... I want to try again with you. I don't care what my father thinks, and I promise I will protect you. But please let me be your boyfriend, " Jungkook said as he looked at me with hopeful eyes. I smiled and sighed as I slowly nodded.

"Yes, but I want to completely start over. I want to go on 3 dates like we did back then before we made it official. And even though I know the truth now, I'm still hurt by what happened. So I can't say I love you right away.. I know I may have said it when we had sex because I do feel it deep down. But I just need time to heal and really mean it without pain when I say I love you." I said as jungkook smiled as he nodded he then sat up, extending his hand to me as I took it, shaking it in confusion

"Hi, I'm jungkook, and I think you're cute. Want to go on a date?" He said as I laughed at his silliness

"I don't want to start over that far back, and hey, when we first met, you threw your food all over me and called me chick." I said as jungkook shook his head.

"What it wasn't my fault! And hey, chick is a cute nickname for you, jimin." Jungkook said as I smiled at him

"Alright, whatever. Hey, im still kind of hungover, and I'm really hungry. Can we go get some food. Pleaseeeeee" I said as jungkook smiled, nodding. We left the dorm loving the act that we had 2 weeks of break before we had to go back to school. I decided to wear one of jungkooks sweaters and he loved the way I looked in it. We arrived at a random hot pot place as we sat down. They brought our menu asking if we wanted any soju with our order to become of a deal going on.

"Oh no way, I'm way too hungover for more soju. Can I get a pear drink, please?" I said as the lady nodded, and jungkook also got one as we ordered our food.

"Hey, I have a question," Jungkook suddenly said as I grew curious.

"Whats up?" I said in response as I started too much on the dowl of kimchi they brought as an appetizer.

"Why did you end up chugging that bottle of grape soju?" He asked as my face turned red, remembering the jealousy I felt

"I um...got a little jealous watching you and...lisa," I said as I looked down, putting my chopsticks down too. The embarrassment ate at me as I played with my sweater Paws when I suddenly heard jungkook laugh.

"You got jealous of me and my cousin?!" He said as I shot my head up, looking at him with confused eyes.

"COUSIN?!?" I asked as he nodded, laughing

"Yea, Lisa is my cousin. Actually, she's dating the girl jennie that I told you about. And yikes, that kiss also wrecked her and Lisa. I had no idea Lisa was her girlfriend and when I walked back into the party Lisa ran to me punching me repeatedly calling me a home wrecker but then noticed my face and asked what happened and that's when jennie and I explained. Lisa felt awful but still needed space from jennie for some time, " Jungkook said as guilt suddenly washed over me. How could I be so foolish getting upset over her when she's literally family.
