Jimin pov
"Sweetheart, are you done getting ready? Your father is ready to drop you off. You don't want to miss check-in, do you?" My mother said as I grabbed the rest of my things, shoving them in my backpack. I raced down the stairs, almost tripping as my mother caught me.
"Yah, you paboo. How many times have I told you not to run the stairs. You better not be this clumsy in college. I won't always be there to catch you, you know." My mother said as I laughed a bit embarrassed
"Sorry, eomma.." I said as she just tsked at me, rushing me out to the car. As I went out, I saw my father waiting for me as he handed me the keys to his car. I looked at him confused as I took them
"Are you.. giving me the car?" I asked as he nodded, smiling. I couldn't handle my excitement, and I jumped on him, hugging him tight.
"Wait, then how will you drive back?" I asked as my mother stepped out of the house smacking my arm
"Forget about me already, kid?" My mom said as she laughed and rushed into the car, starting it. My father jumped into the passenger seat as we made our way to college.
"So jimim, how do you feel about having a roommate?" My father said as I just shrugged
"I'm not sure. I hope their a good person. And I hope their clean. I'm not ready to become a housewife this early, " I said as my father started to laugh. Both my parents know I'm gay they have always known. And they never judged me for it, and I'm thankful for that.
"Hey, maybe you will become a housewife early because who knows, maybe you might find your special someone. " My father said as I rolled my eyes
"Oh god, appa no, I just want to focus on my studies," I said as my dad just chuckled
"Come on, jimin. You've always talked about your future with someone, and ever since high school, you became super silent about it. How so?" My father asked as I sighed
"Reality appa. I realized that it's hard for someone like me, and I need to focus on school for now." I said as my father sighed and nodded.
I just want you to he happy, chim." He said as I frowned a bit
"I will be dad. I promise, " I said as we continued to make our way to the school.
*timeskip to check in*
"And here's you, key dear boy, your room is on floor B, room 204" the check-in lady said as the boy thanked her and left
"Next please," she said as my father and I carried my very heavy luggage jeez jimin. Why did you pack so much.
"Woah, heavy baggage there, I see. It's okay, there's a lot of students like Pack a lot, it's good to be prepared. Now nay I please have your name, " the lady said
"Park jimin," I said as she searched my name up in the system
"Ah, park jimin freshman student in ooo model and performing arts funnn well you certainly have the looks for it my boy. Your room is on floor C, room 306" she said as I took my key and nodded
"Thank you maam" I said as I made my way up the elevator with my things. As we arrived at floor C, we made our way to the dorm, opening the door like crazy as I immediately dropped on my bed.
"Ugh, I'm exhausted." I said as my father laughed, dropping my things as he took a look around.
"Wow, not bad chim. There's a small kitchen and bathroom and it looks like your living room is your bedroom." My dad said as I got up, looking around.
"Yea, you're right. It is nice for a dorm." My mother said as she walked in with the rest of my things
"Thanks, eomma. I forgot about these," I said as I took the last 3 boxes from her, putting them under my bed.
