That night, everyone was at home having dinner at home both in Anthemoessa and Crete. Ione with her mother, Charis, her father, Aithan, and her little brother, Ajax, having Psari Plaki. Nomiki with her mother, Acacia, and her younger brothers, Georgios and Ambrose eating Garides Saganaki. Ozias, his mother, Zina, his father, Deacon, and his sister, Eleni, dining on Kakavia with Horiakito Psomi. And Galen, with his mother, Persis, and father, Andreas, enjoying Bakaliarios with Skordalia.

“It was nice of your friends to split the fish,” smiled Aithan. “Well, since we caught a lot of fish that afternoon, it does make sense to split it for everyone,” replied Ione, feeding Ajax. “Make sense, as the fishing industry is becoming demanding this year,” added Charis.

“Nomiki, you didn’t need to go fishing,” seethed Acacia. “I had to, or else we won't be able to make ends meet, ” protested Nomiki, serving the food for both Georgios and Ambrose.

“So, I heard you and your friends caught a lot of fish,” chorused Deacon, rubbing Ozias’ head. “Yeah,” tittered Ozias. “It seems your training at the Sirenium Arena and Pool really payed off,” said Zina, struggling to feed Eleni who was pushing it away.

“See Persis, my boy has truly mastered his fishing skills,” laughed Andreas. “I see that,” beamed Persis. “and thanks to that, I was able to shipped most of the fish to our local markets,” . “Thanks,” blushed Galen. He then turned his attention to his father's left leg. “So, how’s your leg doing?,” asked Galen. “Not so hot, I’m afraid,” sighed Andreas. “The doctor says that I need take 7 weeks off before heading back to sea,”
“I see,” Galen replied.  Upon hearing this, Galen remembered Ione, Nomiki and Ozias.  “If I could use these 7 weeks, I could get to know them more,” thought Galen.

“So, Ione,” probed Aithan. “Did you spot any humans near the island?,”. Ione recalled everything that had happened during the fishing trip. “Knowing that Galen pulled us close to his boat far away from Anthemoessa, I can only mention what I know,” she thought. “No,” she replied. Aithan gave her a sigh of relief. “That’s what I’d like to hear,” he exhaled. “And it's going to stay that way too so nothing like what happened before repeats itself,”.

“That’s exactly what your father said last year during his fishing trip and he was never seen again!,” snapped Acacia. “I don't want the same to happened to you!,”. “Woah, I forgotten about  Dad's disappearance,” thought Nomiki. “and as of now, no one knows was able to sight his whereabouts,”. Acacia let out a sigh. “It's not that don't want you to fish,” she responded.  “it's just that I want you to be cautious. Please keep that in mind,”. Looking back to the fishing trip, Nomiki   used this opportunity to interrogate Galen.

“And to think my boy would master both mental and physical skills,” congratulated Deacon. “With the help of Ione and Nomiki, these skills are enough to escape and report outsiders,” added Zina. “One of these days, you should bring Eleni to the Sirenium Arena and Pool,”. Agreeing to this, Ozias have been improving thanks to Ione and Nomiki’s influence. “However”, he thought “after meeting Galen, would his views on humans be biased?,”.

“Now, Galen,” demanded Andreas. “Besides just the fish, did you sail close to Anthemoessa?,”. “How can I put it?,” though Galen chose his words carefully, recalling his fishing trip. “No sir,” he replied. “Good,” sighed Andreas. “Because the last thing we need is people ravaging that island to avenge their loved ones,”. There was a reason Galen respected his father. Besides fishing, Andreas worked as a lawmaker to protect the island from possible outsiders, and given what he learned from his fishing trip, now aims to achieve.
