Weeks slipped by since that early morning when Hyunjin had appeared at your door, a beacon of apologies and sweet gestures. Since then, the rhythm of your days with him had developed a comfortable, almost habitual pattern, yet something hung in the air, unspoken, like a melody played with a missing note.
Hyunjin had become a fixture in your apartment, his presence filling the space with laughter and whispered conversations. He'd sprawl out on your couch, his head in your lap as you both debated over movies or shared dreams of future travels. Yet, despite the growing closeness and the intensity of your makeout sessions that left you both breathless and wanting more, he had never invited you back to his house—the very place where you'd felt so deeply connected to him. You remembered the open, airy rooms bathed in natural light, each corner curated meticulously with books, art, and music that spoke volumes of his inner world. You longed to be part of that world, to understand the nuances that made up Hyunjin.
Moreover, he had never stayed the night, always leaving with a kiss and a promise to return soon. His mentions of "family issues" were vague, draped in a veil of secrecy that he hadn't yet lifted. This mystery only added to your sense of unease, sparking a curiosity about what he was holding back.
Your physical relationship, while intense in moments of closeness, hadn't progressed beyond those passionate sessions that ended with him holding you close, breathing regulated, yet always stopping short of going further. Each time he pulled away, a part of you felt left hanging, filled with a mix of respect for his restraint and a desperate yearning for more. You ached for him, not just in body but in soul, craving the deeper connection that comes with total vulnerability.
It didn't help that aside from many heavy and heated make out sessions that left you drenching your panties nothing further had happened sexually. You were happy not rushing into anything but you would be a liar if you said you weren't aching for him.

As you lay sprawled on the soft grass of the park just outside your apartment, the sun filtered through the leaves of a towering maple tree, casting playful patterns of light and shadow around you. The gentle breeze was warm and inviting, causing the grass to sway rhythmically, almost as if it were dancing to a silent tune. Lost in the serene moment, you hadn't realized you had drifted away from the conversation until Hyunjin's concerned voice pulled you back to reality.
"Are you okay?" Hyunjin asked, his tone soft as he settled beside you, his presence grounding.
You turned to face him, his concerned eyes searching yours for a sign of what might be troubling you. "Yeah, I'm sorry, I uh... just zoned out," you explained, giving him a small smile to ease any worry.
"What were you thinking about?" he probed gently, always attuned to your moods, his ability to read you—an uncanny skill that both comforted and intrigued you.
You sighed, biting your lower lip in hesitation. It was now or never to address the subtle distance that had formed between you. "Why haven't we gone back to your house again, and why haven't you stayed the night with me..?" Your voice was soft, vulnerable, needing to understand his hesitations.
Hyunjin paused, his eyes reflecting a mix of emotions as he considered his words carefully. "My mom has been staying with me," he finally revealed, his voice trailing off as if unsure how to continue.
You waited, giving him the space to explain further. His reluctance to share this part of his life had piqued your curiosity and concern. Why hadn't he mentioned this sooner?
"Remember how I told you my parents weren't exactly thrilled with my choice of career path... pursuing art and all..." he continued, picking up a fallen maple leaf and twirling it between his fingers as a distraction. "They aren't the most pleasant people to be around... especially my mother... she's overbearing and controlling, even at my age. I can't bring myself to ask her to leave, but she's been driving me crazy. Plus, I do miss sleeping next to you," he added, his voice tinged with a mixture of frustration and longing.
You nodded, understanding the delicacy of family dynamics all too well. It was clear now why he had been so hesitant to bring you back to his home.
"She's supposed to be leaving tomorrow... but she was also supposed to be leaving two days ago, yet here she is," he sighed deeply, crushing the leaf in his hand out of frustration.
"Hey," you said softly, sitting up and leaning your shoulder against his, offering him a comforting presence. "I understand... parents, no matter how old we get, are going to be pains in the ass."
He turned to face you, his expression softening as he leaned in to kiss your forehead. "I promise, the second she's gone, we will have a sleepover," he said, trying to lighten the mood with a laugh.
"Please, at your house. It's so much nicer than my apartment," you whined playfully, wanting to revisit the warmth and intimacy of his personal space.
"Anything your heart desires, my dear," Hyunjin responded warmly.
"Anything?" you asked, a seductive tone in your voice as you playfully bit his shoulder.
You could see the sudden change in his expression as his pupils dilated, his breath catching slightly. "You can't do that to me... not here, at least," he stammered, a hint of desire lacing his words.
"Why not?" you teased, nipping him lightly again.
"Because... I can't... I won't be able to keep my hands off of you," he confessed, his voice shaky with restrained need.
"What if I don't want you to keep your hands off of me?" you challenged, the air between you charged with an electric tension.
"When she leaves, and we can stay the night at my house, I'll show you just how badly I've wanted you," Hyunjin promised, his voice a shade darker, more urgent.
"My apartment is right up there; why can't you just show me now?" you countered, eager to close the distance between your desires.
"Because," he paused, his eyes intensely fixed on yours, "You share walls with neighbors, and I don't think they'd be very happy if I fucked you through one."
Your cheeks flamed with a deep blush at his words, your heart racing at the boldness of his intentions. "Is that all?"
"No," he leaned closer, his breath hot against your ear, "I also plan on making you scream my name as I fuck you through said wall," he growled softly, his voice thick with promise.
The raw intensity in his gaze was intoxicating, making you ache for him more profoundly than ever. "Mm, I'd like that very much," you managed to say, your voice breathy and full of anticipation.
Hyunjin's gaze briefly flickered to the swell of your breasts as you breathed heavily, the moment highly charged and unabashedly erotic despite the public setting. If only the passersby knew the heated nature of your conversation beneath the seemingly innocent canopy of the maple tree.
Leaning over, he captured your lips with his, kissing you deeply. Just before pulling away, you caught his bottom lip between your teeth, running your tongue across it. His small whimper of pleasure was music to your ears, and you knew just how much he enjoyed your bites.
As you both sat there, enveloped in the golden sunlight filtering through the leaves, the world outside unaware of the storm of emotions swirling between you, you couldn't wait to explore the depth of your connection—both emotional and physical. The thought of finally being alone with him, without any barriers, was both thrilling and utterly overwhelming.
