In this world, the idea of Monsters always struck fear in the hearts of men.

Be it as fictional stories or as symbols, when someone calls another a monster or hears that someone has been dubbed a monster they're always driven by an anxious curiosity to understand that monster.

And deep down, all monsters much like humans; wish to be understood. They may think they stand far from those who are ordinary or they may fear the idea of getting close to others but deep down, all of them desire to be understood and seen, even if what's inside them is something all the more terrifying.

That terrifying aspect is usually the product of their tragedy, that tragedy can cause people to turn into monsters of various kinds.

Monsters who lie and deceive for their own sake entirely, with not a single care for human lives or the destruction they cause...

Or Monsters who live life for the sake of living it, no longer do they care about those around them as long as they're satisfied

But by far...the worst kind of all monsters are those who do not seek to be understood, those who live away from others in secrecy and look down upon them through their bubble as they play god with their lives.

While they can't exactly be called evil like other monsters, their greatest sin is their wasting of their lives, they might tell you they're living like any other human but in reality...they're slaves to their own mind.
