Sweat covered his face, neck, back and chest as he rolled off of his wife's very sweaty and very naked body and tried to catch his breath. Smiling, he glanced over at the love of his life, Mrs. Layla Edwards, and said, "Good morning Mrs. Edwards." When Layla glanced over at him and returned the smile, with parts of her mass of long wavy dark hair clinging to her moisten skin at various places, her lips swollen, and her hazel eyes alight with both love and a slight mischief, the erection that was slowly fading, somehow began to spring back to life. When she'd laughed, and said, "Good morning Mr. Edwards", before sucking her bottom lip into her mouth, Daryl groaned and leaned up on one elbow as he'd placed a deep kiss to her full sensual lips.

Moaning, when she'd sucked his tongue into her mouth, Daryl slid his hand up and over the sweat dampened skin of her slightly rounded belly before cupping one of her perfect breast and rolling the light brown nipple between his fingers. Hearing her moan his name against his lips had his erection standing at full mast, and as he covered her body with his own once more, he groaned when she spread her legs and arched her hips for him, which allowed him to slide back into her hot, wet core.

Moaning in unison, Daryl rolled his hips, and closed his eyes as Layla mirrored his movements. They moved in perfect harmony, and Daryl loved the way that Layla always seemed to read his mind when they made love. From that first night they'd spent together, until that very moment, each and every time he'd been inside of her, he'd felt as if their bodies had been made for one another. Besides Ethan Daniels, Layla was his best friend, and now she was his wife.

The day that he'd met Layla Edwards, formerly Layla Moretti, at the law firm of Harrison, Reynolds & Kennedy, had been one of the best days of Daryl's life. With the exception of the day he'd married her being at the top of the list.

Ethan had invited him numerous times to meet with his copyright attorney regarding the landscaping business, E&D Landscaping, which he was a "silent" partner of, but Daryl had repeatedly declined. Now, knowing that he'd wasted all of that time, when he could have met the love of his life a helluva lot sooner than he had, made him want to kick his own ass.

When he and Ethan had walked into Layla's office, and she'd stood to greet them, Daryl had literally lost the ability to speak. Wearing a pair of black strappy three-inch heels, a fitted green skirt, and black, green and cream silk blouse, Layla had walked from around her cherry wood desk, but when he'd caught sight of her tone legs, small waist, which accentuated her curvy hips, and her perfect breast, Daryl had almost forgotten how to breathe. But it was her face that caught him up short. Layla Moretti was absolutely stunning. Her light brown complexion, long black wavy hair that hung to the middle of her back, and the most incredible pair of hazel brown eyes that Daryl had ever seen, were framed with long dark lashes. And he'd simply stood, dumbfounded before he'd been able to make his mouth form the words to say, "Hello Ms. Moretti. It's nice to meet you."

Layla had clearly not had the same issue, because she's smiled as she'd extended her hand to him and said, "It's a pleasure to finally meet the other half of E&D Landscaping. Please call me Layla." The smile that she'd given Daryl had been one of the most beautiful things that he'd ever seen, and once again, Daryl had lost the ability to form words. As if sensing his struggle, Ethan had patted him on the back as he'd said, "Doctor Edwards here is a busy man, but I'm glad that he finally had a break in his schedule so he could come with me today."

Nodding, Layla's attention had returned to him as she'd said, "Ethan mentioned that you were a Pediatrician. Are you planning to start your own private practice?" Moments before, when Ethan had stepped in, the brief interruption had allowed Daryl to pull himself together, and now when Layla had addressed him, he'd been able to respond to her question. Clearing his throat, he'd said, "Yes, I am actually. I've already spoken to a colleague of mine that is willing to branch off and start the practice with me, however, that will be a couple of years from now."
