Waking up in the arms of the man that she loved, Candace smiled as she opened her eyes and stared up into the gorgeous face of Brent. Candace loved the way that Brent would watch her, especially when she slept, and when he returned the smile and kissed her lips, he moaned as she deepened the kiss. It was Candace's turn to moan when Brent rolled her onto her back and moved in between her parted thighs.

Candace closed her eyes, as goosebumps raced over her skin when Brent lowered his head and sucked one of her nipples into his warm mouth. She ran her hand over his head, and her fingers through his thick, dark curly hair when he licked the hard peak with the tip of his tongue. When Brent switched to the other breast, Candace said, "That feels amazing Brent", and moaned when he sucked her taut, dark nipple into his mouth.

Groaning against her skin, Brent began to place opened mouth kisses to her sternum before slowly moving down Candace's body. Continuing his slow, and torturous path down her body, Brent groaned, before stopping between her parted thighs, and placing a kiss to the completely bare skin of Candace's mound. Locking eyes with her, Brent licked the hood of her clit with the tip of his tongue, and closed his eyes as he said, "Shit, you smell so damn good Shell. I could stay down here all fucking day." Glancing up at her and with a seductive smirk on his handsome face, he said, "Now...let's see if you taste as good as you smell." Parting the lips of Candace's labia with his thumbs, Brent placed a long languid lick to her clit, before sealing his lips against her core. Using just the tip of his tongue, and the suction of his mouth, Brent brought Candace to a screaming orgasm in less than five minutes.

After screaming out Brent's name, and damn near promising to sign over the deed to her townhouse, Candace lay sprawled out, boneless and limp against the mattress of his massive California king-sized bed. They spent the majority of the week at his place, and with the weekend approaching, Candace had plans to spend the day shopping with her mother for some "girls day pampering." It was their monthly tradition, and after the stressful week that she'd had working on a huge corruption case involving a couple cops with a local police department in Atlanta, she was looking forward to her "downtime." Candace's firm had been hired to assist the internal affairs division of the department, and with Candace's expertise in forensic accounting, she was asked to head a team to uncover the charges of embezzlement that had been brought against several officers from the police department.

After taking Candace slow and passionately, Brent carried Candace into the shower, where he made love to her again, but this time, it was fast and hard. And after showering together, they dressed before heading to the Thumbs Up Diner for breakfast. Forty-five minutes later, Candace was enjoying her usual meal of shrimp and grits, which she paired with their sourdough toast, while Brent scarfed down his favorite dish, the low country heap. Candace knew it was Brent's favorite due to the "spicy shrimp", which he loved. As a tradition, Candace and Brent tried to stop by their favorite breakfast spot at least twice a month, but over the past couple of months, their busy schedules had barely afforded them the time to merely sit down and enjoy a meal together. But they always made sure that they either fell asleep together or woke up together several times a week. Brent knew how important quality time and effort was to Candace, because she'd ended a three-year relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Jonathan Maddox, due to his inability to make her a priority in his life. Several years after she'd ended things with Jonathan, Candace had heard that he'd been named as the newest Assistant District Attorney, which was the position that he'd been working towards during their relationship. Candace was happy for Jonathan, and she wished him well. For the most part, they'd had a good relationship, but Candace refused to ever be in another relationship where she made her partner a top priority in her life, while he considered her to be less of one in his. Glancing over at the love of her life, she smiled as she watched him enjoying his breakfast, totally oblivious to her inner monologue.
