Nicole found herself in a world filled with blue and green such as her own. This one felt different though.
"Is that fresh meat I see?" A voice called out from above. As she raised her head, a figure looked down upon her and took a leap to land in front of her. "Well then..."
They dawned a metallic suit with a helmet hiding their face and emotions.
"Welcome to emberfall!" They said with a cheerful attitude. "This is a new planet which belongs to no one somehow. Anyway, so which reality are you from?"
"Me?" Nicole tapped her chest. "I'm not sure...?"
"Let me change it up a bit! Were you just living life on your world before coming here?" She was asked.
With a slow nod, she watched as they nodded in understanding. "You're the new ones then!"
"I gotta say, LOVE the design! Which one are you?" They pointed as they asked.
"My name is Nicole." She felt nervous. This was all new to her.
"NICOLE?!" She flinched and stared at him with a sigh.
"Yes?"
"My bad it's just you're so different from the previous one! She had short hair like you but... she had glasses and was a total geek! She isn't like you in terms of the makeup and prettyness." They laughed.
Nicole crossed her arms. "and who are you?"
"Me? I'm the Oppressor! At least I was, until I was killed one day." They scoffed. "I'm all AI right now. I can feel my emotions almost perfectly though."
She heard a strange buzzing sound then noticed as Melissa appeared a few feet away from her. "Melissa?"
"WOAH, SHE'S MELISSA?" Oppressor questioned with an amazed look. "She's so different to the other one!"
"Other one...?" Melissa raised an eyebrow. "The hell is he talking about?"
"Oppressor here is speaking on how apparently we aren't the only ones here. There is another version of all of us here." Nicole explained. "They look nothing like us however."
"They don't?" Melissa cracked her knuckles. "Perfect."
Oppressor began to levitate off the ground. "Head towards the city, everyone else is over there."
"On your left if you want to know your directions." He said as he flew over.
Melissa and Nicole turned their heads to see a city in the distance.
"Where are we?" Melissa asked.
Nicole glanced at her then faced forward as she walked. "Emberfall. That's the name of this planet I think. No one lives here, it's just someones plaything."
"And there are other versions of us here at the same time... this raises many questions. Many that I don't have time for." Melissa placed her hands on her hips. "We need answers out of them."
"They have been here longer as well so yes, I agree." Nicole sped up. Melissa followed behind as they made their way.
[ Mint City ]
"Who are those two heading this way?" Someone asked.
Oppressor landed next to them and pointed at the two coming forth. "Melissa and Nicole from the new reality. Nicole has the shorter hair."
That same person watched them approaching. "So these are our fucking replacements? Sheesh, so fucking disappointing."
"C'mon Melissa, let's give em a chance!" Old Nicole said to her.
