Melissa huffed as she slid back.
"You didn't stay out of it." Scarlett folded her arms behind her back. "And that's your fault."
She opened her eyes to see Melissa breathing heavily.
With a hand, Scarlett charged up a hyperbeam. "I got Kelly's friend to make a temporary power for me."
"This is called... the Hyperbeam." It shot towards Melissa. She threw herself out of the way and rolled over. "Wow,"
"You managed to dodge my first attack." She sneered. "Let's see how long you can keep this up."
"Stop acting like you're all powerful." Melissa said as she rushed towards her.
"Perhaps you're forgetting something." Two shadows appeared on both sides of Scarlett. They revealed themselves, causing Melissa to halt from moving.
Scarlett opened her arms and tilted her head back. "Meet Ace and Elena."
"However, I believe you have met." Scarlett widely grinned. "And to all of us, you've done one little thing!"
"And that was get in our way." Scarlett glared at Melissa. "Shall we then?"
[Later...]
Ace stomped on the ground and released a spike which impaled Melissa's chest and held her high off the ground.
She held onto the spike with her hands and shot lightning out. "Take... that..."
Ace was electrocuted and knocked to a knee.
Elena aimed her fingers at Melissa and prepared to use her power.
As she did, Melissa watched as a vision hit her on the spot.

"Wait...!" Elena screamed as she shoved her hand and aimed it towards Melissa. She managed to use her power right at the last second and Melissa heard the shattering sound echo through the hallway.
Elena looked up at her just to see Melissa hold her stomach with her arms. She then fell to her knees and did not move. She grits her teeth and slowly got back up then lit her eyes again.
"Just let me talk to Bryan one more ti-!" Elena reached her hand towards her before a vine ripped through her chest. She looked at it in surprise and then felt another one pierce her.
Melissa sent multiple vines right after. She could not tell Elena apart anymore. No one would know this was her. She stood up and walked off.
A small smirk appearing on her lips as she reached the door. Through the window, light hit the hallway. She reached for the doorknob and opened it.
[ The Present ]
'So this has happened before?!' Melissa evaded their next attack and looked towards Elena. 'She's the key to all this. My mind is telling me that she's the one that hurts Bryan entirely!'
'I can't kill her though...' She eyed up Scarlett and then turned her direction towards her. 'Let me pray that this ends well.'

"That battle suit that your husband made for you won't help you survive." Scarlett aimed her hand at the floor and made a motion which ended with her hand moving up.
That's when the ground began to shake and crack. Where they once stood in the middle of a city was now separated. They were on a floating island which parted ways with the ground.
Scarlett pointed at Melissa. "There's no escape. We'll settle this one to the death."
"Before we do, there is something Bryan would have said if he were here right now." Melissa's expression darkened.
Scarlett found many opportunities to attack Melissa from. But she stood defenseless and waited for Melissa to finish talking. Her smug smile eased on her face knowing she would defeat Melissa soon enough.
"And what would that be?" Scarlett realistically did not care. This was the end for Melissa.
If she could take her out then without a doubt there is a chance that Bryan would be the one to die next.
Melissa raised her head suddenly and her eyes darted to Scarlett's. "Go fuck yourself."
A vine got a hold of Scarlett's leg and tripped her. Scarlett used a hand to get her face away from the floor. She rubbed her head and then laughed at Melissa.
"That was your first attack?" She rose from the ground and began to float. "You're weak up here. Face it, I won."
Scarlett summoned a red orb and threw it towards Melissa. She used her vines to grab it and spin it back to Scarlett. It would have hit her face and exploded if it weren't for her arms moving to brace for impact.
She shook off the burning feeling. "You fucking idiot!"
Melissa watched as Scarlett's hands released lightning all throughout the area. She was electrocuted and slowly fell to the ground.
Scarlett laughed. "Down so soon?"
"Get up." His voice commanded her.
Melissa looked up to see a shadow figure right in front of her. It wasn't affected by the lightning. It kneeled down and stared at her suffering. "Is this how soon a fight should end between two ex bestfriends? Tragic, yes. But this is boring."
It got back up and shrugged as it faded away. "Surely you can do better than that."
Melissa huffed and then after three seconds of building up the courage, she slammed her fist into the ground and vines grabbed Scarlett's arms. The vines had lightning running within them so Scarlett had been shocked back.
Scarlett snapped the vines with her hands and she shoved Melissa back down with her brute force.
[ The Present ]
"My mind is telling me that they're all evil! But why do they all look so different in the visions?" She whispered to herself.
Scarlett broke through a window, feet-first and kicked Melissa in the face away into a wall.
She landed and rolled over, placing a hand on the floor then boosting herself over Melissa.
Melissa was still knocked down and watched as Scarlett formed an orb over her head.
With the little time she had, Melissa grabbed a shard of glass and sent it through Scarlett's chest with force.
She turned her attention to Elena then to Ace. "None of you should be struggling. I am only one person."
