Hello, and thank you for still keeping tabs on Blue Spaces! *-* It's been two weeks since I finally sat down and started writing the new chapter. I don't know how I could stand for so long being without the thrill of writing and immersing myself emotionally into the process of storybuilding, buut I guess I'm back now!

Still, it will probably be September until the next chapter. Since you had to wait half a year for chapter 29, I hope you're okay with the (much shorter) wait for chapter 30🙈 With that being said - I hope you enjoy the new chapter! Feel free to leave comments or votes, so I get an idea of what you think😊

Have a great summer/holidays/time and take care🧡 Ly

Ever since San overheard that phone call between Wooyoung and his boss, his thoughts have been running wild. Mostly, they're spiralling, which isn't helpful.

Slipping out of his café-slippers at the exit while Wooyoung next to him does the same, San wonders what Wooyoung thinks of him. What it means that Wooyoung told his boss that their date wasn't "going too well" at that moment. Does he still think so? Would their date going badly also mean Wooyoung would lose the bit of interest he has in San? What relation is there, anyway, between Wooyoung maybe, possibly liking San and their date going well or badly? Is their date now still as uncomfortable as it was when they entered the cat café, or did it improve? San would like to think that it has... potential, but he isn't sure about Wooyoung's views on that matter at all. They do have potential, don't they?

His heart pounding uncomfortably in his chest – maybe it's because he forgot to tell the barista to make his tiramisu latte decaf – San silently follows Wooyoung out of the café and down the stairs. The sun is just about to set and Hongdae's streets are now bustling with a new kind of crowd that consists of students and party-people flowing in with the dusk. The colourful blinking from the buildings lining the streets illuminates the evening hustle and bustle in a dizzying sort of way. San blinks against the flashing lights before he averts his gaze to Wooyoung instead.

There's a smile playing on Wooyoung's lips as he gazes up and down the street, like he's enjoying the blooming nightlife. When he turns to San, his smile turns careful, though, and San's heart sinks.

He tries a smile of his own: "You seem to really enjoy Hongdae."

Wooyoung's eyes widen. San can't tell what kind of emotion crosses his face because it's gone too quickly. "Um... yes. I like the atmosphere. And fond memories." He throws San another cautious look.

Is Wooyoung asking him for permission to continue or did he stop because he doesn't want to elaborate? San quirks an eyebrow, feeling out of his depths. "I mean, I told you I danced here," Wooyoung finally continues. "And a few years ago, when I came here with my family – at daytime, of course – when I saw a group performing here... It made me want to pursue dancing more seriously. They looked pretty cool." Another sideways glance hits San, before Wooyoung continues: "They danced BTS' Run."
