(Once we arrived out in-front of the shaft, Videra wrapped A tendril around my waist, before LEAPING down into the elevator shaft. Darkness quickly enveloped us, with the only thing illuminating A small area around us being A faint glow coming from Videra himself. Eventually, upon nearing an opening, he slammed his tendrils into the walls, grinding to A halt. Stopping in-front of it.)(I was tossed through. Videra jumped through behind me And..It was extremely dark. Far too dark to make out much at all. From what I could see, this large area seemed to be used for containment of some sort. Though, it was safe to assume that, the creatures that might have been previously contained, probably escaped ages ago.)
(I step forwards and- damn near slip and fall through something, only to be caught by Videra.)
"AGH- oh, thank god. Thanks...again."
(I said, looking up to him with A look that can only be described as the fear of god.)
"YOU'RE WELCOME."
(He said, pulling me back up. Before releasing A shine out ahead. Illuminating the room, and, dear god, the entire area ahead of us was all..twisted, mangled, and upturned. This was going to be like having to traverse through A jungle of twisted metal and damaged parts. There also seemed to be...writing on the walls. Most of it was incomprehensible gibberish, as if it was drawn by an insane person, but the parts I could make out, seemed to be pointing us further down the hallway. I took note of this. Before looking back down the destroyed area. Huffing in frustration.)
"You..have to be kidding me. Should I even been surprised..?!"
(I said with A more then frustrated tone. Looking around at this..mess!)
"I TOLD YOU IT WOULD GET WORSE."
(He said with A slightly menacing grin. Before beginning to move forwards. Climbing across chunks of metal, avoiding any holes or sudden drops, whilst pushing some chunks out of the way to help clear A slightly easier path for myself.)
"And I told YOU not to jinx it!"
(I stated. Only really half-joking, as I began to move forwards through the heavily damaged area. Making sure to stay close behind Videra. As the sounds of movement and clanging could be heard from other nearby rooms or hallways. With more of that writing going across the walls. Still pointing us forwards. Meanwhile, both of us were tense and on edge. Anticipating for something to jump out at us at any moment..)
(After A good while of travel, we find ourselves at A dead end. It seems the area ahead has caved in, and was now clogged with rubble.)
"Oh, crap. Uhh..should we head back and try to find another path forwards?"
(I asked after taking A look at the wall of twisted metal and concrete in-front of us. Looking over at him.)
"NO NEED. LOOK UP."
(He said. Pointing upwards with A claw. I look up, seeing A large, gaping hole that led into A hallway above us. Arrows were scribbled into the walls of the hole. Pointing upwards into the hallway. I look back down at Videra, giving an unsure look. At the time, I figured that we might've been running right into danger with this. But, compared to what we've faced before, I doubt whatever it would be, would be much worse, honestly.)
"I mean..I guess? I just hope we don't encounter anymore satin-spawn this time. Ugh."
(And with that, Videra reached over, picking me up, whilst using his free hand and tendrils to leap up through the hole. Out into the hallway above us. Upon having A brief looking around, at first I thought we were in the clear, until, almost as if it was comedic timing, further down the hallway, I saw..humanoid figures, stumbling around they seem to have spotted us. Soon Beginning to make their way in our direction. Making these..inhuman, disgusting growling sounds..)
