Kyun hai ye aazmaishe,
Kya hai ye zindagi ki sajishen,
Samjh nahi paa raha hoon waqt ka ye mod
Jo har lamha mere wajood ko raha hai tod....

Aansu bhi kam pad rahe hai rone ke liye,
Raatein bhi choti ho chuki hai sone ke liye,
Na kabhi kuch hasil kiya
aur na hai kuch khone ke liye,
