Meerab wasn't feeling sleepy at all after knowing Murtasim finally came back home, she thought she has to distract herself from her thoughts so she decided to complete her assignment she took her laptop and notes to the lawn in the house and started completing her assignment .

Murtasim saw Meerab from his balcony he decided to go and sit with her, cuz he missed spending time with her, after all she was his best friend aka his jaan, Murtasim goes to where Meerab is, Meerab is oblivious of his presence, her focus is on her assignment, Murtasim goes and sits next to her, Meerab felt weight drop next to her she turned her head and saw Murtasim looking at her, for a moment she thought it was just her imagination but then Murtasim fake coughs then Meerab believed it's not her imagination
Meerab: tum yahan kyun aye, abhi tak soye nhi? she asked softly
Murtasim: Im sorry agar tum meri wajah se disturbed hogy ho, meinay tumhy balcony se dekha toh socha tumsy akay baat krloon, agar tum zyada busy ho toh mein chala jata hoon
Meerab: nhi it's okay, itny bhi busy nhi hoon, itny formal kyun ho rhy ho tum? she asked while closing her laptop and keeping it in her lap
Murtasim: nhi formal toh nhi ho rha bas waisay hi, he replied nervously
Meerab: acha
Murtasim: aur tumhari university kaisy chal rhy hai?
Meerab: haan theek hi chal rhy hai abhi tak
Murtasim chuckled nervously
*Awkward silence*
To break the silence Meerab asked him
Meerab: acha tum mujhy ye batao tum meray liye kya gifts laye ho?
Murtasim: tumharay liye kyun gifts launga mein, he said with his eyebrows furrowed
Meerab felt a little sad on his words but then she saw the teasing smirk on his face, she understood he was teasing her
Merrab: tum na bohut buray ho daffa ho mujhy tumsy baat hi nhi karni, she said in a irritated voice, Murtasim stood up
