After making sure everyone was asleep, Murtasim texted Meerab
................
Murtasim: chat par ao upar!
Meerab: iss waqt! kyunn? 🤨
Murtasim: bas ajao na plz! tumsay baat krni hai
Meerab: acha arhy hoonn!!

"yeh kyun bula rha upar iss waqt, chalo ja kar hi pta karty hoon" Meerab thought and then made her way to go to the rooftop

Meerab soon came to the rooftop she saw Murtasim his back was facing her, but he sensed her presence then turned around and smiled
Meerab: hmm, kyun bulaya upar? she asked confused
His hand reached to tuck her hair behind her ear before saying
Murtasim: waisay hi tumhy dekhny ka dil kr rha tha, he replied in a romantic way his hand lingering on her hair
Meerab: Murtasim! koi ajygaa, she said fearing they would be caught meeting at night
Murtasim: nhi ayega koi bhi, sab sou rhy hain, khud check kiya meinay, he said reassuring her
Meerab: acha abh dekh liya na? mein abh ja rhy hoon, she said trying to move away
But then he quickly held her wrist stopping her from going away from him
Murtasim: plzz ruk jao na meray paas thori deir, batayn kar lety hain hmm? he said in a soft voice, trying to convince her
Meerab just gave a defeated sigh, she couldn't say no when he was asking her so softly, in a tone which she found cute
Murtasim: mujhy toh abhi bhi yaqeen nhi arha ke kal humari engagement ho rhy hai, he said
Meerab: kyun?
Murtasim: pata nhi, aesay lag rha koi bohut hi acha khuwab dekh rha hoon, he said looking towards the moon in the sky

Meerab smiled mischievously, then she got on her tippy-toes and leaned closer to him with butterflies fluttering in her stomach, and then she planted a soft kiss on his cheek, her lips lingering on his cheek a bit longer, she then distanced herself a little from him, which made her chin make contact with his hard stubble, Murtasim frozed at the contact of her soft velvety lips on his cheek, he couldn't react he was too stunned, ignoring the fluttering feeling in her stomach she asked him with a small smile on her face
Meerab: abhi bhi khuwab lag rha hmm? she said in a flirting tone her voice soft like a whisper
Murtasim still couldn't come back in his senses, he was frozen like ice, Meerab smiled seeing his reaction
Meerab: acha mujhy toh neend arhy hai toh mein sonay ja rhy hoon, tum bhi sou jana byee, she said before rushing towards the staircase
But then she saw someone on the staircase she least expected, her eyes widened slightly when she saw Maya her face was full of sadness, a few tears rolled down her cheeks, Meerab assumed maybe she saw the thing she did just now, Meerab felt a little bad for Maya but then she thought "mujhy bhi toh bura laga tha jab yeh Murtasim ke sath apni pics dikha rhy thi aur jhoothi kahaniyaan bana kar suna rhy thi, she deserves it" Meerab went a little closer to Maya
Meerab: dekho Maya mujhy nhi pata tumhy meray sath kya masla hai, lekin jo bhi hai, tum mujhy aur Murtasim ko door krny ki faltu koshishein chordo, hum dono aik dusray ko chahty hain, aur tum besharam ban kar beech mein arhy ho, kuch sharam karlo aur Murtasim se door raho, she said in a assertive tone
Maya didn't waste a second and rushed downstairs, Meerab saw her going then she glanced back were Murtasim stood he was still standing the way she left him, Meerab giggled looking at him and then left to go to her room to sleep
Murtasim heard the melodious sound of her giggle and came back in his senses and looked towards the sound, he saw Meerab's back going, he then thought about the peck she gave on his cheek, he touched the spot and smiled like an idiot for a few minutes then he thought to go back to his room to sleep, but he couldn't sleep, he felt like a teenager in love with her, he chuckled to himself "sou ja Murtasim koi khuwab nhi hai kal sach mein engagement hai" he said to himself.
