The deafening silence remained as the three of them sat in the living room whilst she seem to be inside her room since she was nowhere around.

"Steven is no more, his house was bombed"

As Jay speaks up, they both remains silent with only Sunghoon being shocked by the news.

The way Riki doesn't even bothers to look up and leans against the couch without any care adds more to Jay's already growing doubt on him, as he shootes a sharp stare to him.

"So, it's you?"

Jay asks to him, who still remains leaned against the couch whilst Sunghoon looks at him in confusion.

Surprise washes over both of them when Riki nods in response ever so nonchalantly as if it's the most casual thing he was agreeing to whilst Jay clenches his fist slightly in pure disappointment and anger.

"Are you out of your goddamn mind? Do you have an idea what you did?"

He raises his voice and watches as Riki stretches out his arms and shoulder, not even appearing slightly bothered about the topic.

"I did what was needed to be done"

He says and sits up straight, looking back at them with a shrug that seem to test Jay's patience further.

"Stop that nonsense, you do know what will happen if Ken gets to know about it? We will all be doomed"

"He won't"

Riki shrugs yet again, his casual demeanour pisses off Jay to no end because this time it wasn't something they could easily get their way out from.

"And what was the reason for it? Who did you did it for? That girl huh?"

Riki parts his lips very slightly at the mention of her, his cool and casual demeanour suddenly breaking down.

"Since when did you became so greedy that you couldn't bother to think of us as partners before doing something like that?"

Riki remains calm, or atleast that's what it looked like to the others but the way he poked his cheek with his tongue said otherwise.

Sunghoon was just silently listening to them, and observing the situation, the tension between Jay and Riki was too palpable that he decided to wait for the right time to speak up if needed and not make things worse by interfering in between.

"We've been together from long enough for you to know the reason and not bring up something as a logic that has nothing to do with it."

"Whatever reason, it can't be that big for you to take such steps."

Jay doesn't seem to take Riki seriously about the reason he mentioned and that almost angers him as he stares at Jay with a blank expression.

"Nothing will be happening for you to look like, you're going to explode."

This made Sunghoon bite back a laugh but he hides it immediately when Jay looks over at him, not at all finding the situation funny.

"Nothing you say? You do know you're literally betraying Ken? What makes you think that won't get us in trouble?"

"You will not be the one to deal with it, so tone it down."

Anger rushes through Jay with the tone Riki used and he gets up, looking almost like he'll snap anytime.

"Don't give me that attitude and watch your tone"

Sunghoon tenses up and looks at Jay, getting up as well to not let an actual fight start.

"I've made my mind"

Sunghoon tenses up even more, as Jay says with a firm tone, taking a deep breathe to calm himself.

"That girl will no longer be living here"

"But it's not her fault, why are you dragging her?"

Sunghoon asks, not liking the way Jay keeps blaming her for something she isn't even completely aware of.

"I don't care, it's all because of her anyway, ever since she came here my peace has gone, and-"

Jay gets cut off when Riki suddenly stands up from his seat, his expression unreadable, as without saying anything he turns and walks away, only to stop yet again.

All of their gazes stops at her figure,  standing by the entrance of the living room with what seem to look like a hurt expression, an indication that she may have heard their conversation.

Riki walks over and grabs her wrist before taking her inside to her room and stopping infront of the wardrobe, he lets go of her wrist.

"Pack your stuffs"

And with that, he leaves from there, not bothering to wait for a response since he straightforward seem to be commanding.

By now, she was already tearing up, but to prevent herself from crying she wipes off the tears immediately that lingers in her eyes and proceeds to open the wardrobe to pack her stuffs as she was told.

Stuffing her clothes inside the bag, she finishes packing up soon, silently preparing for the departure when the footsteps approaches and as she looks up, she sees Sunghoon this time.

He walks over and takes the bag from her, flashing a faint smile before walking outside, whilst she gets up as well, slowly making her way outside.

Walking along the hallway, she stops right at the entrance where Riki stood, seem to be already waiting for her as he extends his hand out for her to grab, which she takes obediently.

He leads her outside to the car, making her sit on the passenger seat before going to the other one and getting inside as well.

She stays silent the whole time, stealing one last glance at the house before he drives away from there. Staring outside from the window, she wonders, if this was where everything that happened ever since she started living them, ends.

She gulps slightly, looking around as he pulls the car inside the forest, glancing at him once, she couldn't make up as to what was he upto with that hard expression but even if she wanted to, she still couldn't utter a single word and ask him anything.

Once the car stops, he gets out and goes over to the backseat to take the stuffs, whilst she tries to open the door but it seems to be locked.

She watches him taking the stuffs and walking away as she waits for him to return and open the door. Soon after, a while later, she flinches suddenly when he opens the door of her side without saying anything.

She steps out immediately, walking silently behind him whilst he walks forward, leading the way. She scans the surrounding from the corner of her eyes and soon begins to look around completely.

Stepping inside the not-so-big looking house, she collides with his back when he stops on his track. Stepping away immediately, she shakes her head when her gaze falls on the bags including his, that had their stuffs inside.

Her eyes widens slightly, before she turns her head to look at him and ask if what she's thinking about him staying here with her is true but just as she looks at him, taking few steps backwards she now finds herself cornered against the wall, with him towering over.

He stares for a mere second before leaning in slightly till he was at eye level with her.

"Can you cook, or will I be having you for dinner everyday?"

"Uh I-"

She nods, not having much to utter due to the proximity between them, and then sees him moving away.

Cracking his neck and shoulders, he takes off his t-shirt and throws it nearby before making his way inside and leaving her all by herself to wonder where will this all be leading to now.
