Venus's moon?

Third chapter! No ships! Solarhumans au. My au. I hope you enjoy! ||

Venus was standing around when Mars approached him.

"You're just standing here staring at nothing,what are you looking for?" Mars looked at him confused.

"Shhh! I'm waiting for someone...I keep seeing some sort of thing around me but I never figured out what it was.." Venus paid little attention to Mars as his focus was still elsewhere. Out of the corner of his eye he caught a figure and instantly ran towards it. He wasn't letting it get away again like it did every other time. It appeared to be fast.

"Got you!!" Venus tightly held the person in his hand who seemed to be a small moon who started shaking in his grasp like a criminal being caught by an officer. It squirmed out of Venus's grasp and ran away again leaving Venus confused and dumbfounded.

"That was successful huh?" Mars said sarcastically  

"Shut up! I'll get it next time I swear!"

"Uh-Huhh sure dude..." Mars crossed his arms

[A week later]

About a week later Venus tried again. He ventured out to the limits of his orbit and started looking around. Peering for whatever glimpse he could find of the strange thing. Out of the corner of his eye he saw that same familiar figure he occasionally saw. 

As soon as it came his way he caught it in his arms, making his grip extra tight so it wouldn't escape this time. In his arms he saw a person with long light yellow hair. She seemed to resemble an asteroid. She looked scared and looked like she was about to start crying with the way she was shivering.

"Woah woah I'm not going to hurt you?..." Venus tried to soften his expression when he realised he frightened the poor thing.

"...Who are you?" Venus spoke up again.

"I'm zoozve..." the smaller celestial body answered.

"And why are you here?" Venus raised an eyebrow suspiciously.

"This is just my orbit....I'm your er....Quasi-moon." She informed,a bit timidly.

Venus froze for a slight second,confused. "Wait what the hell do you mean?.." he looked slightly baffled. "I'm your quasi-moon. I kinda share your orbit but not as much as a normal moon.." zoozve spoke and Venus stared at her for a few seconds in slight shock. 

"I have a moon?!" He gasped out. "I have a moon!" His shock turned into victorious-ness. He grinned and pumped his fist in the air like he won a football game. "Heheh come with me." Venus smirked and zoozve looked at him puzzled before she got pulled along with Venus.

Venus arrived at Mercury's orbit and immediately started bragging as he got to him. "Hah guess what pipsqueak?! I have a moon and you don't!" Venus laughed and mercury looked at him in slight confusion. 

"What do you mean you have a moon?..." Mercury asked before Venus pulled out zoozve from behind him and Mercurys eyes widened. "What! No way?!" His mouth was agape.

"Imagine not having a moon, pipsqueak! How does it feel?" Venus mocked more and Mercury looked at him annoyed. Earth came over to see what was going on,Luna by his side. Zoozve looked at them in curiosity.

"What's up, guys?" Earth questioned. Venus still had a grin and turned around,hands on his hips.  "I'm just concerned that little Mercury doesn't have a moon...it would be embarrassing to be the only planet without a moon wouldn't it?" Venus said condescendingly which made mercury growl in irritation.

"But...you don't have a moon either?" Earth raised an eyebrow. "Are you blind, Earth?" Venus said,pushing Zoozve forward to show her off a bit. Both Earth and Luna were surprised. 

"No way..." Luna said,wide eyed and staring at her. "Heh hi!" Zoozve smiled,her shyness wearing off. "That's insane,how did that happen..." Earth also stared wide eyed. 

"I'm Venus's quasi-moon. Nice to meet you!" Zoozve did a little wave. "Oh I have a few of those too!" Earth chimed in. "Yeah you sure do..." Luna mumbled,rolling his eyes and crossing his arms. Being a bit upset at the memory.

Ever since then,Venus and his quasi moon, Zoozve, would talk more and more. Them becoming comfortable with eachother and zoozve showing her real bubbly personality. Venus wouldn't really ever lash out at her and instead treat her better than probably anybody else in the solar system. His behaviour towards her probably had a deep rooted origin...

Venus stared at Zoozve while she was talking to him one (Venus) night,not really listening. "You know, you remind me a lot of..." he trailed off,deciding not to say anything. "Of who?" Zoozve cocked her head to the side. 

"Nothing,forget about it..." Venus spoke. Zoozve smiled wide and nodded. It was time for her to get on the path of her orbit again and she gave her goodbyes to Venus before skipping away.

Venus did a small wave of goodbye before slowly pulling out a necklace that was tucked under his shirt,his finger trailing across the circular shape of the charm that seemed to resemble some kind of moon. 

"You just remind me so much of her..."

Thanks for reading! I'll make another chapter soon of the note entry I made a few months ago that explains my au lol. But yeah, Venus is getting nostalgic lol.
