30: Goodbye For[n]ever

Ria sobbed out in her room hugging Salem tightly as she felt heartbroken, she truly had her heart set on being with Julian. But she didn't truly believe that she should trust him fully-and she was sad that her intuition was right. She hated that her mind told her to test the man she loved. She watched with sad eyes as her beloved drowned her double ganger. It made her realize that he didn't truly love her. 

Ria soon sniffled as she got up. "Salem...We're going to make that bastard wish he never fucked with me."

Ria changed her clothes and got on top of Salem. "Let's go-we're going to start and stop this war before it even begins."

He took her to the kingdom of Armanani, she first got rid of the knights at the bridge with her scythe before Salem made his way inside and Ria killed everyone that got in her way before Salem got her to a large populated area. Ria then got off of him, he disappeared and stayed out of sight as Ria placed her hands down onto the ground. Ria chanted a spell which shook the entire kingdom collapsing many of the buildings around her making them fall to dust. 

Ria then made her way to the kingdoms center where the castle was. When she got to the front of the castle she saw that Julian and his father were watching the chaos she had ensued onto them. Julian looked at her sadly, Ria glared at him hatefully. She said no words to him as she went straight for him.

Julian's green eyes widened seeing the young princess go straight for him. "Ria! W-Wait please! Let me explain!" He said as he had his hand out in front of him "I wasn't myself! My mother had made a potion that she placed in my drink at dinner to make me go against you! I'd never go against you like that willingly!"

Hearing what she had she stopped herself from killing him as she made her scythe disappear. "She...she drugged you?" She asked sadly as they were mere feet away from one another

Julian let out a sigh of relief seeing that she had stopped and placed her scythe away. "Yes, by the time that it wore off your mother came here to ream both my father and I."

She went up to him and she placed a hand on his chest as she shut her eyes. Julian knew what she was doing so he didn't move or speak. Once she opened her eyes she looked up at him as she took her hand off of his chest. "So you tell the truth, I can sense the lingering parts of that potion still within your system. You trust to easy, unlike me. Now I won't apologize for what I've done here you all deserve it. You will not have me back. This is the very last time you'll ever see me."

Julian kept her from moving away from him by holding onto her waist. "Please don't go...I don't know what I'd do without you Ria. There doesn't have to be a war between our kingdoms."

She took his hands from her waist and walked away from him backwards. "Yes there does, your mother had dishonored the peace treaty between our kingdoms with what she had done not just to me-but to you as well." She said shaking her head before she called out for Salem who appeared beside her "Forget about me, and what you felt for me. Come morning time my family and it's arm will be here to finish what I started. You never should have done what you had Julian-drugged or not."

Ria got on top of Salem and he disappeared with her on his back. Julian looked at his father sadly "there is truly nothing I can do is there?"

"Sadly...no. This is the end for us."

Seven hours later Julian and his father were standing at the front of the castle as they saw just what happened with their kingdom due to Ria's family. Nothing of their kingdom stood as the magical family chose to destroy everything for the sake of the youngest who had their heart broken. By the time they had gotten to the castle The first to go towards them was Enzo who went straight for Julian for trusting him with his precious little girl.
