18: A different type of clone

Once Ria had her book she looked through the book carefully before she ended up finding out the right type of spell to do. She then looked at Rei with a small smile. "This spell will make a copy of you to the cue. Memories, emotions and the like. It will be as if there are two of you living different lives. Just the only thing is-once the clone has died you will feel how it died within yourself, and if you die here it will automatically die where it stands. Understood?"

Rei nodded his head. "I understand Princess Ria."

She smiled before she sliced her hand open placing her bloody hand against the ground before him as she spoke in a language he didn't understand. Afterwards she went up to him. "Give me your hand for a second Rei please."

He did and she made a small cut on his hand before she infused their bloody hands together as she continued the spell once more, chanting in the unusual language that he didn't understand. Once she was done there was a copy of him that had appeared from the blood spot that was on the ground. It looked just like him to the cue. Ria then healed Rei's cut as hers healed the moment she let go of his hand. 

She then cut the side of the pillar near where Rei was before she pushed the clone in making the pilar no longer glow the dark purple any longer once the portal shut. Once it shut Ria held her scythe in both of her hands. "Well since you are a rather big smarty pants here-allow me to show you around Rei." She said with a smile

He nodded his head before the two of them left out together, Ria told him about her life and what she had been doing for years. Rei listened intently to everything she said to him, it was obvious to him that her life wasn't an easy life. Dying not even two days after she had been born and reborn with no knowledge of who her true family was until she was a mere teenager which is when she was able to learn about who her family truly was. 

He never could have dreamt of not knowing who his family was or who he truly was. He didn't understand why she was so chipper while she was around him. When they got to a shut double door room she pushed the doors opened and he saw that the doors led down to a different floor where it was darker. He followed after her only for her to go from walking down the steps to sitting on top of her scythe as it floated down the steps.

"How are you doing that?" Rei asked confused

"It's part of being a reaper dearest Rei, the scythe and are one and the same. I am a part of it as it is a part of me. Since my blood has entangled itself with yours, you might be able to be on here with me. Wanna give it a try?" She inquired

He was skeptical but nodded his head. "Sure."

she held her hand out to him and he placed his hand in hers and she helped him onto her scythe and he was able to be right behind her. She smiled and looked back to him. "Hold on tight Rei."

He wrapped his arms around her waist tightly as her scythe flew down the steps rather quickly as they got into a deep abyss. But due to Rei's vamparic blood he was able to see perfectly fine in the darkness of the room. He saw that the room was a bed room. 

"Is this your room Ria?" Rei inquired looking around

"It is, unlike my siblings-I cannot be in the sun for any reason. Darkness is my friend, to accommodate for it my parents had this place made for me so they could still have me in this place." Ria said with a nod of her head as she got off of her scythe

he had gotten off as well as he walked around the room. "It's rather spacious that's for sure, I must ask...just what does it mean for you to be a reaper Ria?"

"I am neither dead or alive, The things that those of the living can do-I can do as well but only with people who are not human." Ria explained

His ruby eyes lit up hearing what she said and went up to her. "I see, so that's why I was summoned here. You knew none of the others you had your clones be around would be enough did you?" He asked as he cupped her face in his hand

"Shun maybe...he was a demon prince. But he is too ignorant for his own good. For many years you have captivated my eyes and attention Rei. I wanted nothing more than to see just what type of man you truly were. Is it bad that I am curious about you Rei Sakuma?" Ria asked curiously as she placed her hand over his softly

He pressed his forehead against hers. "No...it's not. But now you have me curious about you my dear little reaper. Will you allow me to explore who you are in the most intimate way possible?"

Her teal eyes widened hearing his question as she looked at him flustered. "I...I've never done anything like that before Rei, I wouldn't know how to do anything-" She said before he kissed her on the lips

"Hey...it's okay. I'm happy to be the first and only to touch you. Just consent to it and I'll be sure to be careful with you."

Her face heated up as she had felt his lips against hers for the first time. "Y-Yes.....s-sure Rei Sakuma...I consent to you touching me."

He let out an amused chuckle. "You are so adorable, I'm going to have so much fun with you darling princess."
