Background: Being Quirkless was never easy when you were born in a Superhuman society, though due to his upbeat personality and slight rebellious tendencies, he was able to slip on by through life without too much trouble. He honestly accepted his life of being Quirkless, having no powers at all, even if it saddened him that he could never be a Hero.
He was able to balance his rebellious nature and his studies, managing to end up as a student in an Academy located on the remote artificial island known as I-Island, where the best scientists study and research ways of utilizing Support Items in helping other Heroes worldwide. He has always been good friends with Melissa Shield, his childhood friend and secret crush, even though he would never admit it. Sometimes his personality rubbed off on her, and sometimes hers rubbed off on him as well.
He was very creative when it came to his innovations, however he was more of the Science Fiction type of guy, thinking outside the box and out of the ordinary when it came to his first two years in the I-Island Academy, leading up to his third year. Weirdly enough, both Melissa and his birthdays are on the same day, making them the exact same age as well, which is considered odd to most.
However, he has also managed to earn the attention of David Shield, Melissa's father who is well renowned for his innovations, and of course, assisting All Might back in his prime and glory days. Though in truth, the main reason he was able to meet David Shield properly was because of his grandfather as apparently, his grandfather and David Shield knew each other for a little while. Kieran had always grown up with his grandfather as he never really knew his own parents that well.
Yet as the Summer Vacation was coming up for the I-Island Academy students, David Shield thought it would be a good idea to travel through the entirety of the United States of America alongside his daughter Melissa and her childhood friend Kieran to get his mind off of some things. However, unbeknownst to any of them, this would be the beginning of a new journey for the three of them, the discovery of aliens and alike...
A/N: While it isn't too much to go off of, this is the basics of the beginning on how the trip came to be. However as for this story for what I have planned, I intend to make a blend between My Hero Academia and the Ben 10 franchise. So there will be characters that will make their appearances from the Ben 10 series, as well as adjustments to make things interesting and believable.
I have recently been getting back into the original Ben 10 franchise as I actually have come to appreciate it. The official manga of My Hero Academia also recently came to a conclusion as I am now waiting to see how the anime handles the adaptation. However, I have read a few stories on combining Ben 10 and My Hero Academia, and I felt like making my own spin on it. While it isn't a Y/N self insert, or an iteration of Ben Tennyson per se, I feel like adjusting this story and making some changes would make things flow better as well. So there will be instances where Kieran Castiel will go against foes from the Ben 10 franchise, but due to there being Quirks and things like that as well in the mix, I could come up with unique ways to make everything work.
The last thing I will do as well is that I don't mind adding in OCs if anybody wants to join in for some interesting story progressions, but I since I am also a Vtuber fanfic writer, I may also include Vtubers into the mix if I am able to. So for now, I'll see you all in the next updates!
