Chapter 3 - And Then There Were 10 Part 2

At the Rust Bucket, we can see David Shield as he just got off his laptop, exiting the vehicle as he walked up to Melissa and Damon who were busy talking.

David: "Hey Damon, I just finished up the work I needed to complete. Sam will be able to handle the rest back at I-Island."

Damon: "That's good to hear. Now we can get to the more fun stuff! Who's up for the usual camping experience?"

Melissa: "I do!"

Melissa stated with excitement in her voice as she had never properly experienced camping before, though while David smiled at his daughter's eagerness, he looked around as he was confused about something.

David: "Say... where's Kieran?"

Melissa then looked around, realizing that he was nowhere to be seen as she quickly put on a small smile to hide her concern.

Melissa: "He must be out for a late night walk. He did want a little bit of alone time."

Damon: "Well, there's nothing much out here that could really harm him. There's just mostly woodland critters out at this time anyways."

David: "Well he better get back soon. We might as well prep the campfire while we're at it. Want to help Melissa?"

Melissa: "Of course Papa!"

While David and Melissa walked off, Damon had a strange feeling about this considering that while Kieran used to be somewhat of a delinquent since the last time he saw him, he never once expected Kieran to at least run off somewhere on his own. 

Back with Kieran, who is now a strange fiery humanoid, he was running around, panicking as he didn't know what was going on.

Kieran: "Ahhh! I'm on fire! I'm on fire!"

Though when he managed to stop in his tracks, he then realized that while he was on fire, he wasn't getting hurt. This made him look down at his hands as he was trying to piece it together.

Kieran: "Wait... I'm on fire, but I'm okay...? How is this possible...? Did this strange device give me a Quirk or something? I know for a fact that I'm Quirkless..."

He then looked around again, trying to come up with a solution to his predicament as he wasn't completely sure on what exactly was going on. Though he decided to lift his one hand up, as a ball of flames was formed in his hand.

Kieran: "Cool..."

He then threw it at a nearby branch as it exploded upon impact, though it was concentrated enough that the tree was knocked down, making him flinch a bit as he looked apologetic.

Kieran: "Oops... I wasn't expecting that much firepower..."

He then shook his head, looking down at himself again.

Kieran: "So a fire based Quirk? I could figure out how to utilize this somewhat in an effective manner... Perhaps..."

He then created another ball of flames as he chucked it like a baseball, hitting through multiple trees as he felt like he had a smile on his face. However it quickly disappeared when the forest then began to be lit aflame. He realized immediately that he accidentally started a forest fire.

Kieran: "Oh crap! No no no no!"

He then tried to stomp on a burnt branch that was caught on the ground. However, instead of it being put out, it just made things worse as the fire began to spread quickly, making him panic. He was trying to come up with any solution to resolve the issue, though due to him overreacting, he wasn't able to come up with anything.
