Chapter 6: Back Down to Gravity

Dipper pulled out his big luggage. Finally, after 1 hour here is my luggage. I should have know they put my luggage in a different plane when they gave me a different ticket. After Tamber's incident Dipper rushed to the airport to buy a new plane ticket in another plane because he thought the plane flew off already, when he discovered after he bought the new plane ticket the original plane flew off, with the luggage he submitted to the airport worker. Great, now he has to wait so long.

Now to the bus that leads to Gravity Falls. Dipper sat at the bench in the bus stop. Usually there weren't many people going to Gravity Falls for a trip for it was an old old town. Now seems that the gravity vanishing incident has made them came to a conclusions that Gravity Falls is the cause. Not only tourists, surprisingly Dipper thought he saw a group of, scientists? This might just be the most serious case in the world. Finally the red bus Dipper remembered taking every time when visiting Gravity Falls arrived. Dipper was suppose to be the first one going in, but all the people rushed in the bus immediately as if there was a strange phenomena happening right now in the bus. Dipper didn't even had a chance to step his foot on the bus. People calm youselves! Out of the corner of his eyes he saw someone, maybe some girl, in long golden hair. He struggled to go on the bus, when finally the crowds cleared a little bit. Yes! I made it!

"Sir, the bus is full, we can't take another person, please go down and take the other bus."

Dang it!

He step off as the door closed and the bus drove off into the distance.

Why am I becoming so unlucky!

Now I gotta wait again! At least there's no one waiting for the bus again, for now. After 40 minutes he was surprise he was still the only one waiting. Another red bus heading towards Gravity Falls arrived the bus stop. Now that Dipper's all alone he can take this bus 100%. Yes! But what's weird was that the door didn't open in a long time. Dipper just stood there waiting. Untill the door finally opened and the driver inside said, "I'm sorry sir this bus is not for public. It's for some other special people."

Goose flyer! Why am I so unlucky here!

Dipper nodded in understanding and left to sat back on his bench. How long will it take to go back to Gravity Falls? Part of the reason he couldn't wait to go back is because he missed the town badly. Part is because he had to arrive ASAP to investigate the anti-gravity incident with Gruncle and Grandpa Stan. But with this luck it must be New Year when I arrive Gravity Falls! Suddenly a small truck stopped in front of Dipper. Dipper thought it was just some random person stopping to fetch someone. But then the windows turned down, and there was a familiar face inside the truck.

"Soos!" life is full of surprises, and this one is one of the surprise he didn't expect to see.

"Hey dude! Need a ride to Gravity Falls?" Soos still had his funny accent. Funny, but warm and comforting.

"Oh man! I haven't seen you for how many years?"

"3 years apparently." He remember the last time he seen Soos was 3 years ago. Dipper visited Soos and Melody when Melody had her kids in another city. Soos came out of the car and helped Dipper taking his luggage. "Hey Dipper! What's up with this box? It's so much heavier than the bigger luggage that you have.

"Ding dong."

"A doorbell?"

Dipper smiled and Soos understood. He laughed hard, "One of Mr. Stan's trick?"

Dipper nodded and went in Soos' car as soon as the luggage are all delivered in Soos's car and Soos drove away, into the familiar road leading to the long-time-no-see small town.

"How's your trip here."

"Do not ask about it man, it was like my luck turned when I'm in this place."

"But it's worth it right?" sure, it was worth it to come back to this sweet town.

They chat for the rest of the trip, including discussions of the anti-gravity incident, Mabel's life, changes in Gravity Falls. A lot, and Dipper will forever remember this. He missed all his old pals. They entered the town of Gravity Falls. It was still the funny looking town with weird people as he remembered, but it never could

"Woah ho, so you wrote how many books?" Soos asked,

"Um, 3?"

"Woah, dude. You can open a library with all those books." Still the dumb but funny old Soos Dipper remembered.

"By the way Dipper. Mr.Stan and Mr. Stan had already booked a hotel for you."

"Book a hotel? Why?" wasn't Dipper going to live in the Mystery Shack where he normally does.

"Just temporarily, this is a sudden visit so they had to clear out a lot of stuffs from your original rooms so you can go in there. Oh hey! The hotel!" Soos stopped right in front of a fancy looking hotel. Dipper was so surprise that he gasped. Surely Gruncle Stan can't be that rich to afford such a big hotel!

"Wait Soos are you sure..."

"Such a fancy looking hotel, ai?"

"Yes, but, how did Gruncle Stan..." They arrived the front door of the hotel. Dipper felt embarrassing being in this elegant hotel wearing a simple red shirt and jeans.

"I'll se you tomorrow Dipper! Hope you like your new place!" Soos gave a bright smile with his chubby muscles.

"Nah, I'm fine. I'll find my way around myself tomorrow. I'll see you in the Mystery Shack."

"Sure!" Soos was going to drive away, then he called out to Dipper, "Oh yea, the blondie named after the specific ocean paid for the hotel and she said you can do anything you want here! Go crazy dude!" Soos drove away.

Dipper stared at Soos' broken truck as it bumped to everywhere, the fountain, the statues and finally exited. But that didn't really bothered Dipper. This happens everyday when he was in Gravity Falls. What really was in Dipper's mind was how Pacifica paid for this. She actually paid for this! Wow I know she has a crush on me but this is, no not too far but, isn't it too much? She didn't have to. Well live with it. After checking in with the assistant Dipper went to his room, 7th floor room no.357. Dipper opened the white door and entered the room. Wow! It's bigger than I imagine. I mean I was gonna go to the Mystery Shack anyways. Almost forgot! Dipper quickly moved to a big package. He opened the package and took out the sleeping pig. Doorbell! Dipper was lucky, way too lucky to get away from the luggage checking polices. He had an idea of saying Doorbell was actually a piggy bank. Who knows it worked after Doorbell ate the 1 dollar the police gave Doorbell to test if he was right.

Doorbell was still sleeping, the little sleeper had been sleeping the whole journey. During the 45 minute flight and everything else. Luckily the box got a breathing hole. Dipper left a loaf of bread in case doorbell woke up. Dipper had a lot if his mind about Pacifica but managed to get rid of it through a warm bath. The bathroom is as big as my office. "What the heck?" Dipper exclaimed quietly, but not out of annoyance but impressed. He turned on the lights and began to shower.

He came out after he finished all his before-bed-routine. Suddenly, he remembered something. Oh snap! I forgot to tell Mabel I can't go to the fashion show! Oh snap, oh snap, oh snap-e-doodles! Dipper began to panic and tried to find his phone. But he couldn't find it. He search everywhere, in his luggage, in his bag. No where! Oh,no. Mabel will be so mad when she knows. Dipper you knuckle head!

He jumped on the big bed and allowed his curls to slide down while looking at the ceiling. What am I gonna do? She's gonna hate me when she thought she could finally meet me! And I don't normally remember people's number! Maybe if I give her a call tomorrow when I go to the Mystery Shack. But if I call her and tell her I'm in Gravity Falls instead what will she think when she missed it here so much?

"Ugh!" Dipper grunted loudly! Dipper you big idiot. Now your sister's gonna hate you forever. How come did I remember to tell my parents but not your own sister.

Dipper thought he couldn't sleep by all the horrible thoughts, but still his eyes felt heavy out of the long journey that tire him more than he thought. The next thing he know is that everything slowly became dark and he slept.
