Yeah, I'm going to put this warning on most of my chapters because I worry. I care for people and how they feel. I'm just that kind of person. These creatures were amazing to study, and I won't lie, some of the things I saw sickened me, but I still wanted to share what I saw.

Embrance released Tibra, stood back, and gripped her shoulders. His hands felt shaky, and his vision blurred in an out. Embrance looked intensely at the hunt leader. His black and vivid-red eyes looking straight into hers, he asked, **Are you injured? Hunt Leader, are you injured?**
She stared at him in bewilderment, **Ah...No...no...I'm not hurt...But, Embrance...**
He didn't let her finish. He was having a hard time breathing. It came in painful gasps as he looked her over the best he could, **Are you sure? Are...are you sure you are not hurt?**
He staggered a bit when he let go of her shoulders, putting a hand over the side of his face to focus. A crowd of Atheireyn had gathered around, looking horrified at him. He couldn't understand why they were watching him. He felt weird, and his body seemed so unbalanced, but that was no reason for them to stare at him.
Alongside him, the hunt leader spoke with great concern in her voice, but he could barely hear her, **Embrance! Embrance! Stop moving, you need to let us help you. Stop, Embrance!**
Embrance didn't understand what she was trying to say. Why did he need help? The hunt was over, and he needed to go home and rest. Oh, he needed to rest; he felt so tired! He turned his head to look at her, his eyes fighting to stay open, **What's wong, ugh, wrong...mmm finnnee...I—**
He collapsed to his knees, not understanding what happened, but slowly he started to realize what was going on and fought to keep conscious. Wrapping his arms around his abdomen, I must get home! he thought. He could hear them talking; their voices were muffled noises in his head. Irritated that they wouldn't leave him alone, Embrance attempted to stand, but as he did, his body lost the fight to stay conscious and collapsed to the ground...

Darkness—that was all he could feel. It wrapped around him, making him weightless. The darkness gave him comfort; it didn't judge him and made him feel endless. There was no pain, but he was wary of it...
It was trying to tempt him in deeper...
Embrance pushed himself to recover his conscious state and awaken. The first sense to recover from his unconscious body was smell. Wherever he was, it wasn't home. It made him feel so uncomfortable as he slipped in and out of consciousness. Finally finding the strength deep within his center, he forced himself awake. A dull pain and a headache welcomed him. He groaned as he focused his eyes sluggishly.
