HendrixAfter last night, Hendrix was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Throughout the years he thought that Sadé would change but the truth was the complete opposite. It felt like she wanted to take everything they had worked so hard for, for herself.
She was reckless but very good at what she did and a part of him envied her for it. On paper, they were the exact same person and it reflected in their everyday life only difference being that she was a woman.
However, after her actions the previous night he knew that he would have to permanently get rid of her. Sitting in his office he drank his whiskey neat listening to his team's discussion about taking over Detroit. Everyone in the room was carefully chosen by not only himself but Sadé as well but when push came to shove they would always listen to his commands.
"Before we move further with Detroit, I have a problem that needs to be solved" Hendrix spoke up causing all conversation to stop and all eyes to turn towards him waiting for his next command. He knew that he had to choose his words carefully because what he was about to ask went against everyone's morals.
"I want Sadé eliminated tonight. Whoever gets it done first will receive a sum of $200,000" he says looking around at each and every person that sat at his table. The silence in the room became awkwardly quiet. Although Sadé's methods were unethical to most they all had the utmost respect for her.
When the business first started Sadé was the one to financially keep everyone afloat but they all knew money was the root of all evil and although they didn't need the money it didn't stop them from wanting it.
"Meeting dismissed and you all have less than 2 hours to complete this mission," Hendrix says finishing his drink and dismissing everyone from his office. Standing up he walked towards the large windows that overlooked the city with a smile knowing that in a few hours, his biggest problem would disappear.
Sadé
Laying in bed Sadé silently thought to herself about her life but most importantly her marriage. Today was their anniversary and she had yet to hear from her husband and it saddened her. Five years ago when they said their vows in front of their family and friends she never would have thought this would be their life.
Meeting Hendrix was her biggest blessing and simultaneously her biggest regret. Everything she did was for him including dragging him into the drug business. When they first met she was a small-town drug dealer and he was a kid in college with dreams of going to the league. Love at first sight is what they used to call it because when they first met they both knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.
As time progressed she would financially support him through college while he just took and took never acknowledging the sacrifices she had made for him. But because she loves him she never complained and when he got injured during his senior year she proposed a new dream to him.
When they got married she let him take over in an attempt to be a family woman but with his newfound power came a newfound ego. Their once-loving marriage became a never-ending competition and she tried her best to take a backseat but when he began cheating she had no choice but to humble him.
Allowing a few tears to fall Sadé imagined what life would be like if she never introduced him to this life. Sitting up she grabbed one of the three blunts she rolled before deciding to take a much-needed bath. Walking into their bathroom she ran the bath water before lighting the candles that sat along the edge of the tub.
Dropping her robe she stepped into the water allowing the scorching water to relax her tense muscles. Lighting her rose-wrapped blunt she sat in silence as Summer Walker blasted through her bedroom's speaker. Hearing her phone ring she ignored it making a mental note to check it once her relaxation time was over.
20 minutes later....
Stepping out of the bath she grabbed her towel wrapping her body with it before stepping out of the bathroom. Walking into her room the first thing she noticed was the masked man sitting on the edge of her bed. Chuckling lowly her eyes dropped to the gun that sat in his hand realizing what was about to happen,
"If you went shoot you better do the shit now," she says staring directly at the man not feeling an ounce of fear. Sadé had killed before and knew that once you've killed you better expect karma in the long run.
Watching as he raised the gun she held a smile on her face as shots rang throughout her bedroom.
