OmniscientPulling up to the restaurant Hendrix parked his car before walking inside. The restaurant was clearly rented out seeing as though there was only one table in the middle of the room surrounded by dozens of red roses.
Taking a seat Hendrix thanked the waitress who poured him a glass of wine and sat the bottle down on the table before walking away. While Hendrix silently sipped his wine Sadé watched him from the hidden cameras.
As much as she wished things were different she knew the only way out of their situation was death. Walking out to the table she pulled her chair out before sitting across from him. He watched her intently noticing things he hadn't noticed the last time he saw her. How her skin was glowing, her boobs grew at least two sizes bigger, and her hips were a lot more noticeable that before.
"Sadé" he says looking her into her eyes.
"Hendrix" she says softly fighting the tears that wanted to drop so desperately
"Why am I here?" He asked confused as more waiters came from the back with multiple plates of food for the two.
"Why do you want me dead?" She asks because till this day she didn't understand why. Of course they had their problems but death was insane to her. From the moment the two met Sadé did everything in her power to make his life easier.
"Why don't you pour yourself a glass of wine?" Hendrix asks deflecting from the question because the truth sounded horrible and saying it out loud made him feel idiotic.
Sighing, she grabs the bottle pouring herself a glass of the Sweet Sienna Red. The tension inside of the restaurant was extremely thick for completely different reasons. The two loved each other however Sadès love was soft and intentional while Hendrix's love was conditional. She loved him for who he was and he loved her for what she could do for him and as much as it hurt she knew that.
"Do you recall the day you sent someone to kill me?" she asks looking him into his eyes.
Hendrix broke eye contact to look at the wall. Of course, he recalled the day he put a hit out on the only woman to truly love him. It was their 5th year wedding anniversary and he ruined it. A part of Hendrix wanted to admit his wrongs but his need for power overshadowed his true intentions.
"Our anniversary" He replies bringing his eyes back to hers. He could see the tears threatening to drop from her eyes and it pained his heart. Sadè was the best and worst thing to ever happen to him. He was extremely thankful for all of the blessings she brought into his life but he also simultaneously blamed her for everything he had lost in his life.
When the two met he was a potential draft pick for the NBA and one night every dream he once had was taken from him. He suspected that Sadè was lying to him so he followed her to a warehouse where he found out who she truly was and later that night someone shot him ruining his career.
Sadè didn't allow his loss to be in vain and killed the person who shot him but he couldn't help but feel like it was still all her fault.
"Was I that bad of a person that you felt the only way out of our marriage was death?" She asks finally allowing the tears to stream down her face ruining the makeup she spent hours applying.
At that very moment, Hendrix wanted to hold her and right all of his wrongs but he knew that he couldn't and that's what hurt the most. Too much damage had been done and in his mind, Sadè wouldn't stop until he was dead. However, Sadè loved him entirely too much to ever kill him, and if he ever realized that she would give up everything to have him back.
Sadè wanted nothing more than to live happily ever after with her husband. She hated herself for being the person to introduce him to the fast life and hated herself even more for being the boss instead of a supportive wife.
"Sadè fuck are we doing here," Hendrix asks trying to deflect from his very own tears that threatened to fall.
"Jahil told me your plan" she responds wiping her face as she realizes that once again she was begging for his love.
This caught Hendrix completely off guard and Sadè knew it which is why her once tear-filled face was replaced with a sinister smile,
"Fu-" Hendrix began to speak but was cut off by Sadè.
"Jahil and I are extremely close outside of the business," she says leaving out how they knew each other.
"You fucking that nigga" Hendrix snaps feeling his blood boil at the thought.
"No" She replies sighing knowing that what she would reveal next would either be a blessing or a huge mistake.
"So how the fuck you know him?" Hendrix asks shocked that once again Sadè had the upper hand.
Sadè said nothing as they both heard a door opening followed by footsteps which made Hendrix think that everything was a setup. Grabbing his gun he quickly pointed the gun towards her head but stopped when Suki walked out pushing a stroller with all of Sadès team behind her with their guns drawn watching his every move.
Placing the stroller in front of Sadè, Suki gave her a small sympathetic smile before walking behind Hendrix and placing the gun to his head leaving him very confused.
"Hendrix meet your daughter, Sahara" Sadè says grabbing their daughter from the stroller and turning her towards Hendrix who for the first time in a long time allowed his tears to fall.
