Chapter 4

Sadé

"He's here boss lady," Suki says walking into my office and breaking me from my thoughts.

"Thank you, Suki, I will be right down" she replies closing her laptop and making her way toward her conference room.

She sat outside the door as she watched the girls walk in one by one already knowing that Hendrix was extremely on edge. He hated shit like this and she knew once he saw her alive and well he would be beyond pissed. Walking in last she watched him from the corner of her eye as his fists sat balled up on the top of the table.

Taking a seat she removed her glasses before looking at the once love of her life.

"Hello again, husband," she says looking him into his eyes as his face contorted from irritated to enraged.

Everyone that rolled with with him sat in shock because up until this very moment, they all believed she was dead.

"You gotta fucking be kidding me," Hendrix says standing to his feet and rushing towards her but by the time he made it to her all of her girls had guns pointed at his head. His team rushed to retrieve their guns but were caught off guard as a bullet shot through the window and hit Hendrix's right-hand man, Xavier.

"Gotta be quicker than that," Sadé says with a smile as bodies from his side dropped one by one until only Hendrix remained.

"Im telling you now Sadé one of these bitches better kill me," Hendrix says through gritted teeth realizing that he was outnumbered.

"Everyone out," Sadé says causing her girls to drop their guns and leave one by one.

Once it was only the two of them inside of the room she watched as he looked to his left seeing his entire Detroit crew slain with bullet wounds going through each of their skulls.

"BITCH" Hendrix yells out pushing Sadé against the wall with his hand wrapped tightly against her neck.

"Why are you always so rough with me" she asks with tears streaming down her face before using her knee to hit him below the belt.

Dropping to his knees from the unexpected impact he just stared at her with so much disdain.

"I fucking hate you," he says through gritted teeth.

"People always hate who they aspire to be" She replies walking towards him and using her 6-inch heel to kick him in the face.

Watching as his face contorted from the pain she found pleasure in his weakness which brought a smile to her face.

"Demetri" She yells out causing Hendrix to look towards the door in shock. In walked his best friend of 15 years the very same best friend who once told him that he had done the job of killing her.

Walking further into the room Demtri stared down at his once-friend with disgust. He remembered all the times Hendrix had crossed the people he loved to get ahead and despised the shit. So when it came down to killing Sadé he agreed however looking into her eyes he couldn't find the strength to do so.

Hendrix stared at the two with a look that would scare any person in their right mind however he knew the power Sadé held and so did she.

"Due to our history I'm going to let you live. However if I hear anything about you trying to sell in the D I will kill you my fucking self." She says before whispering something to Demetri and leaving the room shortly after.

Walking down the hallway she joined Suki who held a baby in one arm and a warm bottle of milk in the other.

"I'm proud of you boss" Suki says before handing the baby and the bottle over to Sadé who only smiled.

"Thank you Suki and thanks for looking after her while I handled business" she replies staring down at her beautiful daughter with nothing but love.

"Any time boss, anytime" Suki says stepping off of the elevator as soon as it stopped on the ground level where all the girls waited to escort Sadé and her daughter Sahara to their awaiting vehicle.
