Omniscient

Everyone watched as his tears fell but his sudden outburst of emotion did not move them one bit. From the stories they've heard and from their brief experiences with him they knew he was an irrational manipulator so with their guns still drawn towards him they just watched waiting for his next move.

"Sahara" he repeated softly as his daughter lay in her mothers arm.

In this moment Hendrix was lost for words. For so long he fought for power and this was his chance to fight for love and he hated himself for feeling so conflicted when it came to the two.

"Can I hold her?" He asks looking at Sadé for approval to embrace their child.

"No" she replies before placing her daughter back in her stroller nod motioning for one of the girls to take her out of the room. Hendrix just watched as one of the girls took their daughter out of the room in tears. He knew he deserved the cold shoulder but that didn't stop him from feeling emotional.

As soon as Sahara was out of sight Suki and all of the other girls dropped their guns and left the room as well leaving Hendrix and Sadé alone once again.

"This is your one chance to choose Hendrix. Either you be a father of a dealer but you can't have both." Sadé says leaning forward and looking Hendrix in his eyes.

Taking a deep breath Hendrix just stared at the woman that he had spent so many years hating simply because she was better than him.

"Sadé, shit ain't that simple" he replies releasing the breath that he hadn't realized that he was holding.

"Nah, you just don't want to accept that shit is that simple so let me break it down to you" She replied standing from the table as a projector was rolled in from the back. Turning on the projector Sadé turned on video after video of all of his workers being disloyal and reporting his every move to her.

"Wow, there she is. The cold, calculated, manipulative ass bitch that I fell in love with" Hendrix says with a chuckle watching her from across the room.

"Takes one to know one" she replies with a smile.

"So what is it going to be Hendrix you have less than one minute to respond or every thing ends right here right now" She finishes as the waiters came to remove the plates that sat barely touched by the two.

"Fuck you" he says coldly looking her in her eyes before grabbing his gun. Before he could take the gun off safety her gun was drawn and shot after shot flew past his face.

"Put the gun down, fuck nigga" he hears from behind him causing him to finally see that Jahil had been watching the entire scene from the shadows.
