Lydia decided against talking to Blake while Niki was in town. It was rare that she got to hang out with the woman so Boys could wait. Not to mention she had no idea what she was going to say.
Blake was losing his mind. He was like a teenage girl whenever they got a new celebrity crush, he watched any video she was in, new or old. And he nearly lost his mind when Niki went live while she was staying with Lydia. He watched the stream beginning to end, just trying to see if Lydia was okay. Which she seemed to be just fine. He noticed her messing with the tangled flower every so often, so it was clear she was thinking of him.
As the stream continued Lydia would glance at things around her new room, something's reminding her of Blake. Especially the flower. She kept coming back to the flower, thinking about New York and the weird dream she had the night before she got the flower. She couldn't stop thinking about him and she really wanted to focus on hanging with Niki, but Blake made it so damn hard.

After dropping Niki off at the airport and saying her goodbye, and Niki telling Lydia to go talk to Blake, Lydia made it home. She flopped onto her couch as she groaned, glancing at her phone trying to think if she should text Blake. Or what she should text. She tried to take her mind off of it by getting up and getting ready for work. As she got dressed she kept glancing at the phone. "You can text him after work, you don't need to rush." She told herself as she grabbed her phone and her purse before heading out the door.
The entire day at work all she could think about was what Blake would say, how he would react, or what she would even say. She was glad her clients did the talking and all she had to do was pay attention to what they wanted done and doing it. Lydia checked out her last client and went to clean up her room as her mind wandered to scenarios with Blake.
"I only kissed you cause it's all I could think to do...I don't like you like that."
"You wanna take it slow? No, I can't do that."
"I don't think we should talk, I don't think we should even be friends."
Hopefully that wouldn't be what he would say. After cleaning up her station she headed home and set her stuff down on the kitchen counter when she got there. She sat down at the bar and stared at her phone, still not knowing what the fuck to do. Lydia sighed, grabbed her phone, and sent a short text. 'We need to talk.' Followed by her new address.
Blake was filming a video for Isaac when he got the text. His heart stopped as he read the four words multiple times. "Isaac, I'm sorry. I gotta go." He said quickly leaving the call and rushing to get ready.
"What's going on?" Tanner shouted from upstairs as Blake was trying to get his shoes on.
"Gotta go talk to Lydia!" He shouted before running out of the house. His car could not start fast enough. He put her address in his phone as he pulled out of the driveway and drove straight to her house. He parked his car after getting there in half the time it said he would. As he rushed up the stairs to her apartment he locked his car, not bothering with waiting. He knocked on her door before taking a deep breath and collecting himself. "You can do this."
Lydia took a deep breath on the other side of the door as her hand rested on the handle. "You got this." She told herself before twisting the handle and pulling open the door. "Hi." She said when she saw him stood in front of her.
"Hi." Was his response before she moved to the side letting him in her apartment. He walked in, looking around her new place. "Your place is nice. I like the new decorations you set up."
"Thanks, I've still got a few boxes to empty, but I'm nearly done unpacking." She said as she closed the door behind him. The two went and sat on the couch.
It was that awkward moment where neither of them knew who was gonna speak first. Lydia texted him, but Blake was the one who messed up. So they sat there and just didn't speak. Until Lydia started the conversation.
"Ava is your ex. She's done whatever the hell that was before. You didn't tell me because you thought you could change the outcome?"
"I should've told you. I knew I should've, but I was being a huge idiot and thought that if I could be ahead over her I could save us a conversation. Which you can see didn't work out very well." Blake reiterated his explanation from a few weeks prior.
Lydia nodded, understanding his explanation. "You kissed me."
"I did."
"So you feel the same way?"
"I've felt this way since you joined my stream when I was playing that stupid animatronic animal game." Another long awkward silence. What now? They were both thinking. "Would you like to go on a date with me?"
"Yes, but can we take it slow? I haven't been in a relationship in a hot minute and I really don't want to rush and ruin it."
"Yeah, yeah. Of course. How's Tuesday at seven?"
"That works for me." Lydia smiled. She was really happy it worked out with her and Blake, she really didn't want to screw it up with him.
"See you Tuesday." Blake said as he stood up. Lydia walked him out and waved bye as he got in his car and pulled away.
The second Blake was home he was jumping around happy as could be. He was really glad it was a good talk and not a 'you really screwed up I don't want to see you again,' talk. He went to his room and began looking up places for their date Tuesday along with fake flower bouquets.
Isaac tried to walk in his room to see what happened when he got back but Blake just yelled at him to get out. He couldn't be distracted while he tried to plan the perfect date.

I'm sorry, but work is staring again and I start college the 26th so yeah...I'll try my best but I cannot promise anything at all.
