(Y/N) blinks at him slowly and Bakugo watches the smile that creeps along her face.  She looks away and shakes her head just slightly, closing her bright eyes.
"No, no," she hums quietly.  "I can't ask that of you."  He shrugs.
"Again, I'm offering."  She glances over at him and something scrapes down the inside of his sternum, seeing the sweet grin still pulling on her cheeks.  "As long as it doesn't get in you in trouble.  Don't lose your job for some photos," he chuckles.  She snorts out a breath herself.
"I'm sure they wouldn't care that much, and if they did, oh well."  She shrugs gently and finally pulls herself away from the railing.  "I am struggling to say 'no', to be honest with you.  But, really, you sh—"

Her mouth snaps shut when she realizes he's gone.  She blinks and looks into the room.  There he was, already pulling a hoodie over his head.  (Y/N) follows him inside with her head tilted, pulling the glass door closed.
"Do you have a jacket?"  (Y/N) quirks a brow, catching Bakugo's scarlet eyes easily in the moonlight.  She shakes her head.
"Don't need one."  He frowns with a pinch of his lips, then turns to grab a simple black jacket off a hanger in his wardrobe.
     "It's winter."  (Y/N) chuckles.
"No, Katsuki, I don't need it.  I am dead."  He furrows his brows for a moment and watches her as she takes slow steps forward.  It takes a moment, staring as his head reels, before he remembers she is, literally.
"Half," he fills in.  She tosses her head to the side to give him the point.
"Half dead.  I don't think it's cold enough to pose a real threat right now and even if it was, a jacket won't help.  I don't produce body heat."

Bakugo watches her for a moment before grumbling a laugh to himself and tossing the jacket onto his bed.
"You're strange."  She nods with a small smile, silently following him out the door.  They stop by the front door to put their shoes on and then begin outside.  "What temperature is too cold to pose a threat?"
(Y/N) cocks an eyebrow and glances over at him.  "Why do you wanna know?  Planning to freeze me?"  He scoffs and looks away toward the dark sky.
"I'm your newly appointed bodyguard, remember?  Gotta make sure you don't turn to ice."  He glances back down at her.  She almost blended into the concrete, cast in the city's smoky shadow.
"About -2 degrees," she answers calmly.  "But I try to stay out of any of the negatives for more than half an hour."  He nods carefully.

"Do you know where we're going?" he asks suddenly.  (Y/N) pauses and Bakugo follows, both looking at each other.  "'Cause I've just been walking."
"I thought you were taking me somewhere," she chuckles.
"I said whatever's best.  We're out here for your stuff."  She turns to look around the area before nodding to herself.  Then she begins off with purposeful steps and Bakugo trails alongside her.

She ducks into a path at the treeline that Bakugo couldn't even see.  He crouched low to avoid getting hit in the face with branches he didn't notice.  He pauses a few steps in and blinks.  It was dark inside the hollow, moonlight spilling through the entrance but unable to penetrate the leaves.
Bakugo can hear her rustle a few steps forward and then stop, but he was a little surprised just how much she disappeared in the brush.
"I can't see shit," he gripes.  (Y/N)'s giggle floats between the trees, loud amongst the quiet forest.  A few of the lighter spots amongst the gray landscape blank out as (Y/N)'s feet shuffle somewhere in front of him.  It was downright creepy, her snickers from the shadows, knowing she was getting closer.
